The matress was so lumpy, when I rolled over on my side I honestly felt there was something under my hip and ribs, like a rolled up towel it was so bad. The hotel is definitely dated, but it wasn't super expensive

There was holes in the wall. The shopping center across the street was vacant. Breakfast was poor, ihop was closed. I dont know how the hotel was highly rated. It was poor and worn!

The first room we were assigned with 2 beds hadnt been attended by maid service. We were moved to another that lacked enough room for a rollout bed. We were moved again to an acceptable room. All 3 rooms weren't very clean, and had some broken equipment. I booked the stay because of the good rating it had. Quite surprised.

Not decent anymore
We’ve stayed here before and we’re good on bed comfort but the beds this time were so uncomfortable- hard and lumpy. The vent in bathroom didn’t work and was hanging from ceiling so the bathroom was super slippery and foggy. Breakfast still inedible. There was a few people who had no drinks, code was out and no eggs or meat left. Meanwhile the person at the desk was just on their cell. Don’t know if it was the owner but she stayed in the lobby whole time infront the tv with her shoes off.

This property is the most amazing of all the hotels we've stayed at and Slidell and we stayed out a lot of them. Staff is so kind and courteous and understanding unlike other places.
