Wine Trail Covered Wagon

Travel the Keuka Lake Wine Trail and stay in a one-of-a-kind Covered Wagon. Bringing a little bit of Yellowstone to New York States Finger Lakes Region, Guests can expect an experience you won't find anywhere else. This covered wagon is built with on a wooden frame protected with a 3 layer weather proof canvas cover. Guests will be able to enjoy a queen size bed, pull out futon, full bathroom with shower, TV & Internet, complementary coffee and a custom s'mores bar with so much more to offer!
Located approximately 7 miles South of the Village of Penn Yan, the wagon sits just off the main route on a partially wooded 6-Acre parcel of land on the East side of Keuka Lake. This lot is located on the side of a hill and approximately 1/4 mile from the lake. This property does not have access to the lake. We fall in the middle of the Wine Trail between Rooster Hill Vineyard & Weis. We are approximately 17 Miles from Watkins Glenn State Park, 7 Miles from the Keuka Lake Outlet Trail & 14 Miles from the Keuka Lake State Park.

Amenities/ Disclosures
The wagon offers all the same comforts of a hotel room & more. The wagon has a canvas tied down over top of the wagon consisting of 3 layers protecting the guests from the cold temperatures & the suns hot rays.
It is heated with a Mini Split (forced air heat/AC) that is temperature controlled with a remote control. Temperature is always set to 70 degrees before your arrival and you can adjust it as you need during your stay.

The Wagon is plumbed via a well. It offers a full bathroom with a shower that includes shampoo & body wash (if guest require special kinds of soap we recommend your bring your own) toilet & sink. There is a built in moisture barrier between the bathroom & the main wagon with a vent built in just like an average bathroom.

A mini fridge & toaster oven is offered to guests during their stay along with a coffee maker. The coffee maker includes coffee, sugar & creamer.

SMORES BAR! Yep, we got one. Located on the exterior of the wagon facing the fire pit is a wooden box that is attached to the bottom of the wagon. Inside it you will find the supplies needed to make your S'mores

WiFi in a covered wagon! Password is provided to guest upon check in. We have already connected the smart TV. The TV is designed for you to input your check in and check out date. Feel free to log into any of you accounts such as Netflix, Hulu etc and the TV will automatically log you out of all your accounts so you don't have to.

The couch is a futon, just grab the front of the frame and slide it out!

We are pet friendly, which means that other guests who have stayed have brought their pets here. We don't charge additional pet fees. We have an excellent cleaning crew but if you are sensitive and have pet allergies, this rental may not be for you.

We have the wagon professionally treated by a local pest control company two times a year. Once in the spring & once in the fall. Because the wagon sits on wheels we've never had an issue with insects or mice. However we have been told ladies bugs have been spotted previously. If you don't like the site of insects, this rental may not be for you.

Wood is not provided for the fire pit. There are several of near by stands you will pass on your way to the property. Buying wood from our neighbors helps keep them happy!

Covered wagon
The covered wagon was a unique place to stay. Very comfy and cozy. Close to wineries and restaurants. The rooster across the road adds to the country atmosphere!

Happy Birthday
I decided to treat myself to a much needed getaway for my birthday. Good location, clean, nicely appointed. Good WiFi. Only wish I would have known the water was not potable. They should have provided a gallon if spring water, that wouldhave been wonderful. Also, they need to add a couple of hooks near the door for coats and bags. Nowhere to hang up clothes .

Nice Experience
It was a fun change of pace to stay in a covered wagon. It is conveniently located to many places we wanted to go. Only thing I wish I had known to bring drinking water.

Dirty and unfullfilled promise
Arriving, the bed was unmade and sheets were not changed. Garbage from previous guests was left in bathroom and main room. Heat was iot on, as I would told it would be, so I froze for 30 minutes. To top this all off, the sink would not drain and we were told we couldnt flush the toilet. We were promised a full refund, (after my boyfriend ended up being the one to fix the issues during our Valentines Day getaway). We have still not recieved a refund over 2 weeks later after being promised. I do not recommend staying here. I tried to give them a chance, but turned out very dissapointed. My texts inquiring about the promised refund were ignored.

Totally Unique
This was a wonderful, unique getaway for a romantic overnight. The decor was charming and cozy, very creative. We had a camp fire and because it's away from the city lights, the sky was beautiful, filled with stars. Can't say enough about this place. If you have time, ride over to Seneca Mills Falls and take a short 5 mile hike.
