Our cottage/villa includes a screened in front porch area perfect for a relaxing, “Hang Loose” vacation.


The Purple Parrot is a 114 unit Caribbean-style resort with tropical plants & palm trees. Our huge 150,000 gallon outdoor pool is only footsteps from our cottage/villa. Enjoy live music at the Tiki Bar or sample some of the local restaurants for your dining & entertainment.


Johnson Beach State Park is a short (3) minute drive from the resort. Breathtaking sunrises & sunsets, white sand beaches, showers, picnic tables, walking trails & covered pavilions.


Our unit offers one 43" Flat screen TV in the bedroom. One 50” Flat screen TV in the living room. Brand new 6/2022 Beyond Beauty King size mattress in the bedroom. Queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Front loading washer/dryer. Free wifi, extended cable, & our kitchen is fully stocked with dishes & cookware.


PLEASE NOTE: Bring your groceries, toiletries & paper products. Publix Grocery store is located (5) minutes from the resort.


Our unit is lower level & parking is directly in front of our cottage/villa.


The Purple Parrot in Perdido Key is a unique gated tropical resort. The villas surround a 5000 square foot oasis swimming pool with a waterfall and a bridge accessible hot tub. The resort also features an indoor heated pool and hot tub in the indoor pool house. Changing rooms, showers, sauna & work out area.



Tiki Bar is on-site pool-side. Drinks & food are available for purchase.


Purple Parrot has a strict NO pet policy for renters.
NO smoking in any of the condos.
NO renters under the age of 25.



Restaurants, grocery stores, marinas, golf courses are within a mile of the resort. So much to do and see on the key!

Great place to stay. Very clean, decorated lovely, and cozy. They were putting a roof on the building when we arrived, so we just went to dinner and they were gone when we returned. The property is perfect for a couples getaway! It’s located close to the beach, great restaurants, and stores. It is clean, cute, and comfortable! They have all the amenities that you could need provided- including some beach items, which I thought was a great touch. The resort pool is awesome! We really loved this vacation spot.

Cottage was very cute and well decorated. The lay out of the floor plan worked nicely even for 4 people. Property is very convenient to the pool. The property did include a few bonus items, such as boogie boards that weren’t mentioned. Would highly recommend.

The condo was clean and comfortable for 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids). There was a tiki bar, outdoor pool, indoor pool, and a small fitness center on the property. The Johnson State park, restaurants and stores were near the property. I appreciated the condo owner had been very communicative and provided clear instructions about staying at the condo.Overall, we enjoyed our stay. If we come back next time and we would choose the same condo.

Great Cottage by the Beach
Took the family to the beach for the 4th of July. We spent a week in the cottage. My kids loved the 2 pools on the property and the cottage was very pretty. Even though there was a Tiki Bar on property and not far from the cottage, it was not a problem. The screened in porch was great to have. We typically dropped off all our beach stuff on the porch before going in. The only things that would have been added perks to the stay were not having young kids in the cottage above us running for several hours a day (foot stomps waking us up in the morning) and having access to tv apps (Hulu, Netflix, etc). Satellite channels were available, but we're a family who watches apps more. Overall, we enjoyed the cottage and location (next to the beach, close to fun attractions, and not congested with tourists) and would like to stay in the future.

Best Girl Vacay yet!

Enjoyed my stay. The cottage was perfect! Loved how it is decorated and the comfortable furnishings. Loved being able to walk to the Tiki Bar and listen to great music and take a dip in the pool. Nice condo. Pretty decor. Cable issues in unit but nothing bad. Music was loud at the tiki bar and pool was overrun with kids, but if you have kids that like to be noisy, you’ll have a great time.
