Swan Valley Retreat in beautiful Brigadoon

Our retreat is located in Brigadoon, 45 minutes from the CBD and 30 minutes from the airport.

Looking to relax and unwind. Our home is the place to do just that.

Set amongst the trees in the beautiful Swan Valley, our home is waiting for you. Set on the highest part of the block, the house overlooks the pool and pool house. The main property is fenced from the dam and bush land at the back.

Our property boasts a beautiful swimming pool for you to relax and unwind in or just sit back and enjoy the peace and tranquility.

There are wineries, breweries and restaurants a short drive away, and the cuddly animal farm also. Whistlers' chocolate factory, Yahava Coffee, Mondo nougat factory, local honey and gelato only a fifteen-minute drive.

Kangaroos roam freely and there is an abundance of birdlife.

The house consists of 5 bedrooms (4 Queen beds, 2 King Single beds) Main living area with dining, kitchen and TV area. Wood heating. A separate lounge room with smart TV, WIFI is connected via satellite and if you wish, you can connect your Netflix or favourite streaming service. There are 2 bathrooms, one with large corner bath.
Shampoo, conditioner and body soap are supplied. Reverse cycle air conditioning and heating.

The pool house consists of a kitchen with BBQ, Wood fire Pizza oven, Fridge, toilet, bathroom with shower. Football table, table tennis table and in the summer, you can enjoy the 16 metre swimming pool.

Music must be kept at a nice level for consideration of our neighbours. Pool house operation times are between the hours of 7.00am to 10.30pm and 12.30am on New Year's Eve, rules enforced and instructed by the council.

Only the booked amount of people is allowed on the property, unless prior approval has been sought. Any extra guests without approval are a breach of the rules.

There are two security cameras installed, one at the side of the garage, the other on a tree looking out to the driveway and gate they are simply to monitor the number of guests at the premises. They are not in a place that will be intrusive to your stay.

All linen provided, 1 house towel per person, instant coffee, tea and sugar, coffee pod machine available.

Pool towels are NOT supplied.

Bucks, hen's and /events parties in general are not allowed, this is not a party house.

Please be aware that we live amongst the bush so there is wildlife, birdlife and insects about.

Sister’s annual reunion
Throughly enjoyed our stay. Janene and Gavin were most helpful and very accommodating when we had a special request regarding our Christmas in July with family. Very much appreciated.The location for us was spot on, such a lovely outlook and perfect for the various activities we had planned.Although it was mid winter the house was lovely and warm and we had the fire going most nights. I would highly recommend Swan Valley Retreat. You won’t be disappointed.

Our family spent 3 nights at Janene’s beautiful property. Janene was so helpful from the get go. There’s a great cafe, Taylor’s only 10mins drive, but the house is so well set up to enjoy the fabulous pool, games room & amazing sunsets & bird life that you won’t want to go anywhere!

My family of 10 stayed here for combined milestone birthdays and it was a beautiful experience full of memories. This is a tranquil property which provides everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The hosts are very personable and prompt with any requests. Nothing short of spectacular
It doesn't get better. This property has everything you want and more. The view and location is amazing, you don't need to go anywhere during your stay. Attention to detail is the best we've seen. Everything from the notes of information throughout the property to the fireplace and pizza wood oven having kindling, firestarters, etc all ready to go so its just a case of light it and away you go. Can't recommend enough and we'll be back for sure.

A peaceful retreat
We are family of 4 adults + 4 kids. The home was so cozy and well equipped. The kids were occupied with all the books and toys. Coming from Singapore, the fireplace was a novelty for us. It was beautiful with the fire at night. When it was sunny the kids were out with a frisbee and we had BBQ. Mornings were absolutely peaceful and beautiful with birds chirping. Spotted a few wallabies in the nearby woods. Only issue was there were bugs coming in when it was rainy. 3-4 bugs each time from some gap from the living room sliding door. This spooked one of our kids quite a bit. All in all was a pleasant stay
