Great: location, living space, garage, security
Not supplied despite being advertised: TV connection (cable missing, non-working wall plug), WIFI (no modem present), gas bottle for bbq, tea/coffee/sugar, soaps, washing up needs (brush, detergent, cloth, dishdrainer, dishwasher), bedside lamps with globes, bathmat for 2nd bathroom, wrong lockbox code given (2 days running) and not believed - required photographs and emails
Would also liked to have had: handrail for front steps, hand towels, bathroom bins, laundry basket and enough pegs, enough coathangers, drawers/shelves for clothing, mirror in master bedroom, radio, bright lighting in bedrooms (1 globe not working), 1 external light not working.
Worst problem: double booking of first night, only discovered upon arrival when code didn't work. Email had been sent while flying in that day, but already had check-in information sent the day before so had not read emails after landing. Was told to to find own accommodation for 1 night (after 5pm) then return next day, but code still incorrect and required more phone calls, photographs. Double booking the result of a last minute stay extension of previous tenants through another booking agency. Our booking was made and confirmed months prior. Offered refund of night, but no compensation for stress caused or additional expenses paid. TV and WIFI not fixed during the 1 week stay (despite maintenance contact), but compensation offered at the end.
