The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable and modern. The dog area was nice . The location to the restaurants and to the hiway was great. This is one of the best LaQuinta motels we’ve ever stayed in!

Overall appearance was good, up to date, and mainly clean. Location was fair, but there was much traffic noise from I-80, right behind the motel. Breakfast was adequate,average for this level facility. Most of our issues were with the room. Due to past experiences, we asked for and got a top floor room to minimize noise from above, but we neglected to ask not to be placed at the far end of the hall. We found later that we had been placed just next to what appeared to be on site housing for maintenance/cleaning staff(?). This was very unusual in our experience and there was much noise from those rooms, mainly from closing and opening of doors, to the point that one ofus asked them to please be aware of the noise. In the room, the bath/shower was found to have a mottled bottom, apparently meant to be non-slip, but it was EXTREMELY SLIPPERY, so that a towel had to be placed on it to be safe(no bath mat was found). There were also no adequate grab bars anywhere I the shower, only the thin fiberglass one molded into the unit in an inconvenient location. No towel bars near the separate sink. The AC/Heating unit was extremely noisy, made watching TV difficult. Coffee/Tea provisions were only half there, with no sweetener or creamer. Front desk provided a tv listing sheet after we called and asked for it. Motel seemed to be understaffed, and the same fellow, “Riz” appeared to be handling everything, including breakfast. He was, however, always polite and helpful.

The lady at the front desk who checked us in was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of items to choose from. The kids had fun at the pool. Our dog was welcome, and we were given a room towards the exit, so it was easy to take the dog for walks. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The only bad thing was the beds. The mattresses in our room were extremely uncomfortable. Every morning, we woke up with lots of pain everywhere. I don't know if it is like that in every room. Also, the A/C unit in our room had no markings on the knobs, so it was tricky to use.
