Convenient for convention center events
I stayed here for a huge conference at the convention center right next to the hotel. The proximity to the convention center and being in the city center were great, but the hotel itself was below average. Both the exterior and interior are outdated. Food and drink options in the hotel were limited for the size of the hotel. The elevators were extremely slow and inefficient. I would only consider this hotel for a conference or event at the convention center. This is not a place I would stay with my family or friends on a trip.

Huge hotel, nicely kept and staff was extremely helpful. But like most big cities you have to contend with the homeless population that hung around nearly every entrance. Outside of that itsan excellent starting point for full city exploration.

pillows were very uncomfortable, the bathroom door made a noise that would literally wake the dead, the toilet paper holder was broken and kept falling off, the sheets did not fit the beds, and the water pressure from the shower head was terrible.

The staff were very friendly. We liked that the pantry store was open from 6:30 am to 11 pm. Our room was very clean, and the air conditioner worked very well. The hotel was close to a Phlash (tour bus) pick up location which made getting around the city very easy. Plus, the hotel was located near many restaurants and the Reading Terminal Market. We would recommend this hotel.

Nice one night stay for a weekend visit
Good central location. Nice proximity to parking across the street and central market. Downside is homeless hang out near the front of the entrance on Filbert.
