This hotel was in the historical section of the section so we could walk to the Liberty Bell and the Independence Hall. It was also a central location if using public transport or Ubers to get around. Friendly staff, clean and tidy room - nothing to complain about here.

The concierge was great, so nice and helpful. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful too. Location great very walkable. The room could have been better, tub drain very slow causing water to fill in tub during shower, tv in our room didn’t work and sounded like drag racing going on, on the street outside our window.

Ask for a room on the side of the hotel away from the fire department if you want any sleep. Also, make sure front desk validates your parking voucher or you may be double charged.

Great location, easy to walk to Market Street. There must have been soccer tournament for children. Children were running around the lobby, playing soccer, yelling and screaming, coming in the bar area. Couldn't enioy brunch.

Front desk staff was very helpful by first accommodating a late checkout and then an extra-day stay. Showed concern for customer's problems necessitating the extra day. Housekeeper was friendly, cheerful, helpful. Convenient parking. Excellent bed.

The restaurant was terrible. inconvenient hours, limited menu. The Quesadilla I had was terrible. the waiter took it back and off our bill- that was good. That left me with ho-hum pasta. AND.... who serves pasta without garlic bread or even a roll-Wyndham Philly does. No salad. Rafael was our waiter and he was great. this is not a $300 hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone.

We stayed 4 nights and asked room to be cleaned twice. It was cleaned on our third night. I talked to front office staff and asked twice to have it cleaned - she took my info but nothing was done. Ordered room service only to be told that we would have to go downstairs and pick it up ourselves????? Property is dated and needs an upgrade - bathrooms were not the cleanest. Would not stay here again

I do not recommend this property..terrible service
Due to my flight delay, I did not arrive to the Wyndham Philadelphia Historic Distric until about 8am the following morning. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was told that my room was re-sold and my reservation had been cancelled (and I was charged full price). After speaking to the manager, I was told "it is what it is" and was provided with no alternative solutions. I was stranded in Philadelphia on a business trip with no hotel room or assistance from the hotel staff. I do not recommend this hotel!
