DO NOT PREPAY! And if you do Be wary of their cancellation policies. You’d think there would be some flexibility for a repeat customer who attempted to re-book, not CANCEL, about 20 hours prior to actual check-in time. My travel plans were altered and I simply wanted to move my booking 2 days later, but they stuck me with a cancellation fee for the exact amount of my original payment. Never staying here again.

Stayed in a large, spacious room that looked recently remodeled. Arrived in a Uber ride in plain sight of the front desk. Reserved ahead, so it was paid in advance. Not a late drop in. Desk clerk was courteous. However, he gave me a room that was over 200 yards away and upstairs. He could see from my ID that I was 70 years old and I had three bags. So, to make it to my room plus a round trip to the front office to get something cold to drink, and check out the next day, I had to walk with luggage over 800 yards. That's almost one half mile! They need training on courtesy and problem solving.

The Surestay is a perfect location. Its close to the airport, zoo, botanical gardens, and restaurants. The prices are terrific. The roome was clean and comfortable. We were disappointed to not have had time to enjoy the pool, it looked nice. The layout of the breakfast bar was crazy. You had to cross the room multiple times to make toast, get cereal, or make a cup of coffee. The restroom in the breakfast area was out of order. Otherwise, this would be a 5 star review. I would definitely stay here again.

Very noisy, you can hear people in all the rooms. Couldn't get sleep. Broken coffee maker. Sink faucets are terrible, can't even wash your hands. Tables are uneven in the dining room and wobble. Biggest problem is the noise from the other rooms.

WONDERFUL!!!

It was excellent! I've been traveling to Phoenix a couple of times a month to watch comedy shows, and most of the economical places I've stayed have been TERRIBLE. I selected this hotel because it was close to the Celebrity Theater where I was going to a show and it was a good price. Based on recent hotel experiences, I wasn't hopeful, but I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!! The staff in the lobby was wonderful. The room was clean with stylish, modern styled furniture and a really nice bathroom. The mattress was even comfortable!

Easy stay for a layover at the airport. The room was clean & modern, I was impressed. Make sure you get to the lobby at the time they tell you to because the shuttle was every hour and I thought it was every 20 minutes. The shuttle was a great feature though and I was happy with my stay.
