Avoid this property if possible
The agent required a photo ID of every guest at check-in and made photo copies of them. I expressed that I was uncomfortable with a photo copy of my ID being kept and was told effectively, too bad. Additionally, this caused the check-in process to take more than 30 minutes for our party to check in 2 rooms. I've stayed at other Woodspring Suites and never had this experience. This hotel is not in a sketchy part of town and shouldn't be a security issue, so the demand for photo ID from every guest and photocopying of ID's is ridiculous. The rooms are clean but very minimally furnished. The beds were cheap bed frames and plastic mattress covers that caused the fitted sheet to continually slip off in the night and give you a sweaty, clammy nights "sleep". The bedding and beds were horrible. There was no blow dryer provided in the room. A blow dryer was available but only after a trip to the front desk. We were told at check-in that housekeeping only came every 14 days. I think this is very cheap and it's ridiculous to expect someone to use a hotel room for 14 days without housekeeping services or clean towels. I would never recommend this hotel to another individual and will try to avoid this chain in the future.

Do not stay here if you think it will be a full service hotel. It is NOT. Property was clean, but provided no products/services most other hotels provide. No shampoo/conditioner/body wash in bathroom. No hair dryer in room (have to take one on loan from front desk). No linen service unless you pay extra (so no clean towels or bedding entire week). Kitchenette is great, but hotel provides no cups/plates/silverware/cookware unless you provide yourself or buy from front desk. Rooms are not soundproof in the least, and there were people banging doors all hours of the night. If you are expecting a full service hotel do not stay here.

Our room was very clean and spacious. We had a kitchen with no utensils, pots, pans, glassware, soap, paper towels, or anything a simple kitchen would have. Not a fork, knife, or spoon. The bathroom had a very small shampoo and soap. Not enough for our one week stay. No tissues, and no lotion. In addition there was NO ICE MACHINE available for guests. No ice cube trays either. Thebes was comfortable, however the top sheet and blanket were sized for a queen bed. We were in a king. So we were exposed in bed. There was a coffee maker in the lobby. Hot water available too. But NO TEA BAGS. Discrimination!! And I wasn’t allowed to use my mug at the maker. I got yelled at because it was unsanitary. Meanwhile the cups that were available, were touched by any one around and exposed to many germs. It’s not like they sanitized the machine after each use! Walls are paper thin. Noise levels are terrible. I would never stay here again or recommend it. It was clean. Staff was not very accommodating.

NO blow dryer, Ice or warm bedding available
Our room didn’t provide soap or shampoo at first and we had to ask the cleaning crew for items the next day because the lobby didn’t have anyone bring anything up to our room…no blow dryer was received or available and the hotel’s beds and bedding are very thin and not comfortable. The area is a good area and the hotel is newer, but when no one is available to assist you with the basics it’s frustrating…NO ICE available either (probably the liability of keeping a machine clean and to code stopped them from providing it?). Not a good experience for us.
