Great stay, couldn't ask for more!
We had a fantastic 1 night stay here. Val, the host, was super friendly and welcoming. She couldn't do enough for us and made a lovely breakfast. The location is great, 5mins walk into town and ideally situated for exploring the Yorkshire moors, towns and coastlines.

Surprising Pickford
The location was ideal and the town of Pickering was very charming with a surprising number of interesting attractions. There was a castle, a museum and, the point of the trip, a now famous classic car auction site (Matthewsons).

Good well situated B&B excellent friendly staff
Helpful and welcoming staff. Room found on ground floor for us, cup of Yorkshire tea offered on arrival. Good breakfast, to order the night before. Well situated close to centre for NYMR and restaurants. Very quiet situation.

This is an amazing hotel. Scrupulously clean, everyone very friendly and helpful, the rooms are lovely, and a beautiful garden behind it as well as a convenient car park. The accommodation was of a much higher quality than we expected given the rating of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay there again and explore the moors and the coast - we were there for a family celebration.

Absolutely great service the owner accommodated extra kids beds ,great English breakfast we all loved it .We went on train trip to Whitby the next day and they told us to leave our car their when we checked out to save on parking at the station .Perfect location just off the main drag .Will be returning soon

Comfortable hotel. Good base for exploring
We stayed 3 nights at the Old Manse Hotel, a traditional hotel very close to the centre of Pickering. The rooms are clean and comfortable - good shower - with tea, coffee facilities. Breakfast was great with healthy and not so healthy choices or both if you wanted! Staff attentive and friendly.
