Nice place but dissapointed that there was’t a hot tub and we couldn’t use the pool. A large amount of boys took over the pool and the one night we wanted to use it - closed :(

My wife and I regularly stay at Hampton Inns because they have a consistent standard of quality. Unfortunately, the Taos Hampton Inn fell way short of that standard. 1) they should train their staff to know about Taos. They were generally clueless. 2) shampoo and vacuum the carpets - we were there six nights and the same crap was in the stairways the entire time. 3) entry doors were missing knobs and hardware. 4) they had signs up “This door is locked at all times for your security” and the doors were constantly blocked open with rocks. 5) people were smoking (not just cigarettes) on the patio with the doors blocked open so the inside common areas were polluted with smoke. We are not nitpicky, we understand that staffing and logistics can be challenging for any motel. But we will never pick the Taos Hampton Inn again.

The room was dirty. The toilet didn’t flush very effectively. The wind whistled through the window most of the evening. Anyone could walk into the hotel and open the stairwell door to access any of the floors - without a key. I historically love Hampton Inn but this was not a particularly great experience.

Great price - worth the money. The facility is a little dated - for example, Isome outlets did not work and the side table was about to fall off of its wall mount. Breakfast was good and the bed was comfortable, so it depends on what's important to you.

The Ice machine was broken on the 2nd floor. When went down for breakfast there was no eggs,the potatoes were burnt also no mix for the waffles.The pool was not opened. The water drink had not been changed since Thursday evening when we arrived.

Traveling with our grandson and had stayed at Hampton Inn before so decided to stay here again. Unfortunately there was limited room availability, so we got a room with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was broken, so we couldn’t use it. Front desk staff wasn’t helpful and said they’d have maintenance look at. Well, that didn’t happen and my grandson had to sleep on the floor (He’s too long for sofa) Room didn’t have any lotion in the dispenser and no Do Not Disturb sign. Was very unhappy with accommodations and lack of attention/concern by staff.

Shades in bedroom were broken. Moved us to another room. Shades were working in other room but didn’t cover the width of window and no other covering on window to block out. Did not feel comfortable or privacy. The showers handle was also malfunctioning, was hard to adjust water temp and turn off water. Breakfast was terrible!!! Got some orange juice and it tasted so watered down and threw away. Went down at 7am and they had run out of potatoes and and not a lot of options. The fruit(apples) were old. The place was run down, needs a lot of improvements. Nothing like the pictures on the internet.

We stayed there a week ago and everything was perfect. However, this stay was not as nice. Our room had the smell of pet urine. The managers apologized but the smell was still there.

We headed to Taos for the adobe village. This property was convenient to that and the main town area of Taos. Not quite what I expected from Hampton Inn in the way of room cleanliness, or breakfast offerings, but it was certainly a good choice.

We stayed for 4 days and never had room service. We had to take out our garbage and finally took pool towels from the pool area for new towels. Breakfast was very limited because they said they did not get a delivery of food until after we would be leaving. Lamp lightbulb was missing and we requested one but no one ever came. We were told over the phone all would be taken care of but nothing ever happened. Would not recommend staying here.
