The room was clean and had a patio with seating. Staff was friendly and their continental breakfast had limited fare but was fresh and tasty! Woodside Grill dinner was excellent!

Don't let the pictures or the word "spa" deceive you... I thought it looked like a fairly nice place to stay but upon arriving I could tell it was not. Walking from the parking lot inside one of the circular room blocks was eye-opening - no landscaping, spiderwebs everywhere and peeled paint on most of the exterior doors. Going inside the room, we were hit with the old, musty smell of the room. Thank goodness I had some perfume with me to spray the whole room with (being hot, we couldn't open the windows). We almost booked another room elsewhere but the only time we were in our room was to sleep so we stayed. I didn't know what the Ascend Hotel Collection was but figured they would have a standard. After staying at this hotel, I would be leery of staying in any of this brand's properties.

We had issues with our pass key and the pool door. We had to be let in by other swimmers already inside the pool area. They said they had to get maintenance to get in the door and had issues with it too.

We’ve stayed at the property many times since they opened. It has definitely declined in its ratings. There was a lot of dust on the surfaces in the room, bathrooms are looking rundown, and breakfast was absolutely disgusting!!!! A lot of the trees and landscaping have died.

My wife and I have stayed here on several occasions but this most recent overnight we found the property a little run down. I had to make 3 trips back to the front desk because own door keys didn’t work. Maintenance fixed the problem but it was a little annoying.

1. Front desk person at check in was rude and basically just threw my room # at me without directions 2.Baseboards peeling off the walls, refrigerator not turned on, floors dirty, multiple plugs in 1 outlet, shower designed for wheelchair use causing floor to be soaked, continental breakfast had hard bacon, dry sausage, and cold eggs. No oatmeal, no waffles, not even a bowl of cereal. No dining area to eat this garbage. Basically this place is ghetto.

Some few improvements and it will be perfect.
Nice and comfortable stay overall. The pool is clean and nice. The gymn is a plus. The breakfast was inconsistent, 2 out of 4 days the food was good, the other 2 days is meh. Need to always have the key cards replaced because it is malfunctioning.

The bed skirts were filthy. Which made me question the cleanliness of the bedding itself. The window was so dirty that the fountain/lagoon view from upstairs wasn’t all that great. Walked through that area on our way to see what was for breakfast and it smelled like septic. The breakfast was not good and there was no silverware. We ended up just grabbing a tiny pastry and heading out.
