Perfect back porch sittin
The property is lovely and clean. Perfectly situated 5 mins from the Red dog bistro and 15 mins to Sparta. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and the wood work/art in and around the cabin is spectacular.
There were a few things that were not made very clear before we booked.
1. You must take your trash with you when you leave. Good thing we had a truck.
2. The cabin, although adorable, is 20 feet off of hwy 93. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs and if you have uncontrollable dogs, bring leashes.
3. The bed in the master/downstairs bedroom is a full, not a queen, as described. The extra few inches make a huge difference.

Little Gem in NC mountains
Extremely nice refurbished farm house with excellent beds, kitchen and porches. Great location and superior service by the homeowners. Quiet, beautiful views. Great hiking and close to West Jefferson and golf courses.
