Beautiful garden
Lovely property in a beautifully maintained garden.Nice pool,although chilly,brace yourself before plunging in!Only thing I hadn’t realised when booking was that the owners live upstairs, and have a dog that uses the garden.I had checked with the owner prior to booking if the pool and garden would be exclusively ours and she assured me it would be and that she’d only be there to water the plants and maintain the pool.This however was not the case.The owner used the pool daily,and the garden for sunbathing,and the dog was left to roam freely in the garden.The dog is small and friendly,too friendly for me as I am allergic to dogs unfortunately and both my children are very wary of dogs so it put them off going outside to eat and play.I did send the owner a message a couple of days in to our stay to ask if she could could keep the dog away and she was then very good at that which was good.The children were still very anxious though so it did adversely affect our holiday.I had spent a long time searching for somewhere with a pool that was absolutely not shared with anyone else,and paid more to do so when booking this.So to then find that the pool and garden were shared,and with a dog,was very disappointing indeed.If I’d been happy doing that I could have saved a few hundred pounds and stayed elsewhere.Also being able to hear the owners upstairs did hinder what we had hoped would be a relaxing stay.I absolutely would not have booked if I’d known there was anyone there full time
