Lovely overnight stay lovely staff rooms and food.
Hotel and Staff were lovely. Warm and friendly nice atmosphere . Food was lovely had a fabulous roast. Location and setting very nice very spacious inside and out. Definitely recommend this pub/ Hotel and enjoyed our stay

Apart from no sink plug, and the drains smell in the room when I arrived (which disappeared after running the taps for a while), the room was well equipped and bed was very jcomfortable. The restaurant lets this place down though. As an allergen sufferer I had to work my way through the allergen folder at the bar (was not allowed to take it to the table) and was informed my meal is “usually” gluten free. I had two meals during my stay, one really poorly presented, both a little over priced for what they were, and both took over 30 minutes to be served, even though the place was not that busy. The plates were not cleared for at least an hour after I had finished on both evenings. Whilst not an unpleasant place, the room rate, food and drinks were not good value for money.

Gem of a hotel near Guildford and RHS Wisley.
This hotel is an absolute gem. Decor is tasteful and in keeping with the building. Lovely room, comfortable bed, great shower, toiletries and big fluffy towels. Great selection of teas and coffee in the room and the option to buy reasonably priced snacks from a tray in the room. Large pub dining area and bar. I am celiac and nothing has been too much trouble. Food is great. If I come back into the area, this will be my number one choice of stay.

Amazing Refurbishment!
We have stayed at Worplesden many times before, but this was the first time since the property has been refurbished, and wow!! We stayed in a room we’ve had before, and the styling has elevated it to a simply luxurious level! I can’t wait to come back!!

Clean, welcoming room. Good breakfast choices and good quality food. Quite pricey though. Best to book with breakfast included. Watch out for chargeable snacks in the rooms. Tea and coffee is complimentary but all edible snacks are extras and payable on departure. Would be helpful to have bold signs to this effect.
