This property met all my expectations! Gialel Pisa is very near the Piazza dei Miracoli where the Leaning Tower is located. A mere 6-minute walk is all it takes to marvel in the beauty of the spectacular monuments of Pisa. Moreover, the room that we stayed in is very clean and very spacious. A big plus is the wonderful and working AC which is a big deal after spending the whole day under the sweltering heat of the sun. The front desk staff are very welcoming! Highly recommended!

Perfect place. Excellent location. We walked there from airport (40 mins) was a hot long walk but economical! Comfy bed. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Excellent but too warm.
Excellent location and sparklingly clean and modern. However, there were no shutters or exterior blinds on the very large window and the air conditioning could not keep the room cool in the hot, sunny weather.

You'll like it.
This is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in; cleaner than any of the big chain hotels. The staff was super friendly. Security is very strong. The location is perfect; between the train station and the Domo. It is next to the university with plenty of cheap restaurants and bars, yet the hotel is very quiet. Suggestions: (1) for breakfast try the coffee shop across the alley called "Filter." You will b e surprised b y the quality of the food, the presentation, the friendly staff and the low prices. (2) The guesthouse is on the fourth floor at the address provided. There is no sign at the entry of the building-just ring the bell.

We stayed in this place for five days and wouldn’t do it any other way. The room is spotless and spacious, perfect for a family of three; the location is excellent. You can walk to restaurants and shopping, a few minutes to the Leaning Tower, and walk to the train station. The lady and the gentleman who run the place are very accommodating and always pleasant. I would stay here again if we went back to Pisa.

Quiet hotel near the Piazza del Duomo
I liked Gialel Pisa very much. The hotel is located on two floors of a condominium building, with an elevator, in the historical part of the downtown. It is surrounded by University of Pisa buildings and also on a main street leading to the Piazza del Duomo where all the major sites of Pisa are located. The reception was very friendly and efficient and the room was modern, had a balcony and window shutters, and a nice view over the town. There are ample breakfast and dining opportunities in the immediate neighborhood.

Great location and great value.
Bed was very comfortable and the en-suite bathroom was the cleanest I have ever seen - it sparkled! Ideally placed near to Leaning Tower and railway station a 20 minutes walk. A coffee shop is literally 10 feet from the front door. Numerous good quality eateries in the immediate vicinity. The couple who manage the rooms are very friendly and helpful. Great location for anyone with mobility issues, everything you may need is very close.

The room was spacious and very clean, remodeled and wifi worked perfectly. The staff is amazing, kind and friendly and very helpful. Place is super close to the Pisa monuments with plenty of dining options and food is absolutely amazing. We walked to the train station, about 15 min, and got to Florence in about a hour. There are many trains that go back and forth with Florence. Pisa airport is also very close, 10-15 min with taxi. We traveled with two children. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

Perfect base camp!
Very warm welcome, and due to the current heat wave provided cold bottled water. The room very spacious and very comfortable and the room was clean and perfect for myself, husband and my teenage son. The guest house is just a 5 min walk to the tower with plenty of places to eat and drink on route. 100% recommend, perfect place to chill after a day out.

Lovely guesthouse in the heart of Pisa
This is a lovely guesthouse in the centre of Pisa, just five minutes walk from the cathedral and leaning tower. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, with a lovely shower, fast wifi, and excellent air conditioning. Check in was easy and the staff very helpful. I give it 9/10 for the price. The only thing they could do better is provide a kettle, coffee, and mugs/glasses in the room. Otherwise, a fabulous place to stay at a reasonable price.
