Good choice breakfast included in price. Staff very helpful. Shuttle service to airport available. Some noise from open air bar nearby but didn't go on after 11 o'clock. Coffee not refreshed in room.

Lovely character hotel in a great location. The outside patio area was great. Staff was helpful and courteous. A negative was the air conditioner: noisy and not very effective at cooling off the room.

Helpful staff - organised change of room was very dark & next to the stairs/lift. Room fairly basic. Dated & tired furniture. Shower good but it leaked. OK breakfast but the coffee machine was problematic - more than one is needed. Good airport shuttle which is free if you book directly with the hotel. Otherwise €15.

Good stay
The staff at the hotel are lovely and it is in a very convenient central location. There is also transport to the airport provided (for a fee). The bar is open late and breakfast was tasty. The room we stayed in was nice, the bed was a bit hard and shower pressure was good but the temperature was inconsistent. Overall it was a good stay.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the train station - 15 minutes pulling a medium size suitcase over cobblestones. We needed easy access to our train to Vernazza. The staff was very nice. Our room was up a couple flights of stairs and we got help with our luggage. We ate our evening meal at the hotel and the food was just ok. But breakfast the next morning (included) was fabulous - pastery, fruit, juice, breads, eggs, etc. and a variety of coffee's. We had planned to stay two nights but our plane from Heathrow was delayed so we didn't make it the first night. Hotel Bologna's policy is to charge you for both nights. So buy the insurance- luckily we did! I would say overall it was a good place to stay.

Very friendly staff, good continental breakfast, lovely fresh fruit. Good location, 10 min walk from train station, couple of minutes from main shopping street, 20 minutes from Pisa tower.

This hotel was just okay. The people at the front desk were especially helpful in the morning but not as much in the evening. The air conditioner in the room never worked very well and sleeping in the heat was tough. It was nice that they offer a free shuttle to the airport/train station, though.

Perfectly located, quiet, comfortable hotel. 20 minute walk from the leaning tower, 10 minute walk from the central station, a shuttle to the airport is available for 10 euros or you can walk which takes only 30 minutes. If I was to return to Pisa, I would definitely stay here again.
