Location to the event I was attending was close by. Shower was uncomfortable shower head too low for a person taller than six feet. Sink and shower were dirty, not cleaned very well. Confortor had places that looked like they had been burnt holes in it and then someone hand sewed them closed. At first we were given a smoking room which I had asked for non smoking. Then when I got to the first room the door wasn't even closed or locked. We got another room given to us. Later I asked for a room for my son. Because of his job he carries a pistol. He came late and managment called the cops. His badge and his credential he had on him. Finally go to his room and settled after midnight. Crazy night.

Lots of homeless around this area. Very noisy (can hear ALL vehicles) - however for the $65/night it was ok. Bed was nice- the AC units need updated- took a while to cool down

This property was horrible. It is the Fort Scott Inn that was purchased recently by new owners and had a rubber sign thrown over the Inn sign that says Super 8 by Wyndham. It was old and dirty and did not match the pictures. I blame Expedia for false advertising. I took 80 pictures of the horrible conditions, but it is not clear what to do with them. I wouldn't stay there for free. The motel needs to not advertise as a Super 8 until the renovation is done. It will probably take a year or more to get this motel ready for reopening. Until then it is false advertising and a wrip off.

I was checked into a room on road side with high way noise. The door didn't shut properly i could see out side with door shut there was food down side of chair, food in floor under dresser & counter in bathroom. I was supposed to be a queen size bed was only full. They were in the middle of reinvocations, no restaurant or breakfast as advertised. Charged me $5.15 to up grade to room with king bed, when the room i had been put in was a full not a queen. Only spent enough time to shower sleep & leave next morning early! Will not stay there again & that used to be the best place to stay in Ft. Scott. pool was trashed.
