Paradise awaits! Gorgeous Gulf of Mexico front beach only steps away from the home!.

LGI is a private island in the Gulf of Mexico in S.W. Florida. It is bridgeless. There are very few people on the beach generally and you will have miles of pristine beach to yourself.

Meticulously cared for fully furnished home close to private beach access. 3 bedrooms 2 baths with 400 square foot outdoor deck. Private Dock included. - (1 boat only.

The home's location on the island can be seen in picture number 2 - center of picture with brown deck.. Basically on the beachfront only seperated by the mangrove / dunes. We can hear the crashing of the waves and nice ocean breeze.

World class fishing. Great outdoors, ecotourism and wildlife. type vacation. Great for peace and quiet.

The home is also a short walk from the dock. There is a large rolling Rubbermade cart that can be retrieved from the home and bring it back to the dock to roll bags and supplies, equipment to the home.

The Home:
3-bedroom 2- bath with an outdoor shower.
1,300 square feet inside and 400 square foot deck.
A master suite includes a king size bed and a full-size tub.
The other 2 bedrooms have Queen size beds.
Everything is new and super comfortable.
Completely updated.

The home is fully equipped. High speed internet, smart tv, desk with printer and copy machine, charcoal and propane grills, outdoor shower and rinsing hoses. Large kitchen has everything you need to cook. Washer and Dryer. There is at least 4 beach chairs and a large umbrella with an anchor. There is 1 Bicycle

You can fish from the dock in the bay as well as from the beachfront. If you have a boat, there are local islands to visit that have restaurants and bars and so many fishing spots or sandbars to go to.

Parking is at Eldred's Marina - 6301 Boca Grande Causeway Placida, FL. 33946 - 941 697 1431 - Cars $6 per day - Trucks $8 - Trucks with trailers $10 per day - approx.

Pirates Water Taxi 941 697 5777 (Make Appointment) can be used to get to the island if you do not have a boat. The cost is $12.50 per person each way. Make appointments in advance! The taxi is regularly available.

The Water taxi takes you from the mainland - Placida FL. to Little Gasparilla Island - about a 10-minute boat ride to our dock #17. You can come and go from the island by scheduling with the water taxi.

Golf Carts can be rented on the island at LGI Golf Cart rentals.

You can bring your boat and park at our dock as well or there are several boat rentals in the area.

Nearby places to visit by boat: Stump Pass sand bars. Also, boca grande sand bar. Caya Costa if you can go there - you will be blown away. And then there is Cabbage Key where Jimmy Buffet wrote "Cheeseburger in Paradise" or go to Palm Island which is close by and visit the restaurant there called "Rum Bay". Or the mainland town of Englewood. These locations can be looked up by name online.

Nice Home on LGI
We enjoyed our stay on LGI. House is clean and has ample space. Kitchen is huge and living space has lots of seating. Bedrooms are a little tight. The beach is very close by, but I would recommend you bring your own chairs. House is well stocked but if there is rain be sure to bring your bug spray as area around house has lots of standing water. Our host was great communicating any information we needed, and we had no issues during our stay.

Clean house in great location. Owner was on point with communication, even during a tropical storm. Boat dock is solid and had no worries about leaving the boat there. No complaints. Will definitely stay there again

Quiet getaway
The house was on a quiet lane overall which was very nice. The house had everything listed and communication with John was great. I would have liked to see a few things in the house completed such as, the barn doors that are for the bathrooms needed to be finished and the trim painted. And the front door to the house did not shut and lock very well. Otherwise the interior was good. The exterior has a great outdoor shower which was nice. I would liked to have had a filet table in order to clean fish but that is my only negative thing about the outside of the house. Overall we had a great time and cannot wait to be back.

LOVED THIS HOUSE!
I can't say enough great things about this house. The location was awesome. A very short walk to the beach, a bit longer of a walker to the dock (but it's really close too, especially if you have a golf cart). The dock is a shared dock. We shared with two other boats while there. It wasn't a problem. I only point it out because me telling the golf cart rental company that it was a "private dock" caused some confusion. The outdoor shower was awesome. We got home last Friday. We're almost done building our own outdoor shower at home. That's how much we loved it. The house was stocked with everything we needed AND MORE! The only negative thing I can say is that the master bed was very noisy although still comfortable. There was a box for a bed frame there though. So, I'm assuming it's being replaced with something quieter. The house is beginning to have some updates done (bathrooms have been redone and some fresh paint elsewhere), but what's not been updated was no problem at all. Everything was spacious and clean. Random bonus here: We did not lock the doors a single time during our week. That was such a pleasant, little surprise. As a kid, we never locked our doors at home. We do now. Being able to feel so safe and relaxed to not need a locked door was awesome. We had no issues whatsoever and John was a wonderful host. We truly enjoyed our stay here. We'll def be back!

PEACEFUL PARADISE
Just bring your own food and EVERYTHING else is provided! So much easier than even a day at the beach, as all chairs, umbrella and even beach towels are there. A short stroll down the path and you're on a pristine beach, with pleanty of personal space, NOT ontop of your neighbor. AND speaking of the neighbors, those around John's home were a delight! We even got to witness the bloom of the "Queen of the Night" cactus. This 1 Night Only each YEAR Event produced hand -sized exquisite blossoms that looked like fireworks in the trees. Thank you John, We will DEFINITELY be back!

The home was exactly as advertised. It was well stocked, clean and very peaceful. It was close to the beach and close to the dock for our boat. Communication with the owners was great and their home exceeded our expectations. We look forward to visiting again and highly recommend this property.

Our stay was fantastic from the first day to the last. John's home is welcoming and had everything we needed for our two week stay. The short walk to the beach was wonderful and you could hear the waves crashing the shoreline from the deck of the house. We will definitely be back!!

Away from it all!
Great property. We were prepared and brought everything we’d need for our stay. Weather was amazing and the island couldn’t be more comfortable. The beach offered spectacular walks and our dogs made lots of buddies. Highly recommend.

We have a house on LGI that was severely damaged in Ian. When I contacted John @ staying in his place, he was so kind & understanding of our situation. He was very accommodating & responded quickly. His place was neat & clean & very well stocked with really everything you need for LGI vacation. Clearly a lot of thought in making sure our stay was easy & comfortable. I especially loved the outdoor shower complete with sea breezes, moon & stars🌕⭐️⭐️I appreciate those details so much! I highly recommend John’s corner LGI oasis just steps from the beautiful beach.

House was perfect. Island is still rebuilding from the hurricane. There were a few days red tide was present. On those days we took our rental boat to another beach. I would highly recommend renting a boat if you dont have your own.

We had a wonderful time at this vacation rental. It was in wonderful shape considering a lot of the other homes were recovering from hurricane damage. The neighbors were kind and even offered to loan us their golf cart. The internet was the only issue. With 2 teens with us it definitely lagged a little bit. Would definitely recommend some additional DVD's so they younger kids can stay entertained at night. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely recommend to others in the future.
