While the hotel itself, including the room, was adequate, there were a few issues. We had to have our keys reprogrammed or replaced 4 times because it stopped working. We heard this same complaint from several other guests as well; however, the staff seemed unconcerned and said that every single one of us must have placed our keys near our phones or something to cause them to become demagnetized (we didn’t). The light in our neighbor’s room kept flickering, and when she went to the front desk the staff’s response was to ask her what she wanted them to do about it. Another guest helped her to resolve it- merely replacing a light bulb. There were only 2 towels for a 3-night stay- I had to request more. The breakfast was mediocre at best- the same hot foods every day- scrambled eggs and an unidentifiable sausage, packets of plain oatmeal but no toppings, and a few assorted muffins and breads. There were waffles as well but I did not try them. The coffee was good. There was no air conditioning in the hallways and it was absolutely stifling. We will not stay at a LaQuinta ever again.
