Had to be moved out of original room. Found numerous earwigs crawling around room. Second room was nice except for bamboo ot polyester sheets which were sticky and hot. Staff was very nice

Did not have a tv guide. Tried to call the desk, the phone was broke! Called with cell phone about the phone and tv. Front desk person came to room, said yes, the phone wasn’t working and would put in a work order. We said we had cells, but couldn’t find a tv channel guide in the room. He found one on the tv for us…we asked if they had a movie channel and he said, “sorry, no.” So, ok … we watched a cooking show. The next morning while I was getting ready my daughter was flipping through the channels and found not one but a half dozen HBO channels. The tv package is hard to navigate, there is no printed tv guide, and the tvguide on the tv is next to useless. The screen eventually MAY get to HBO or it did as with us that night, return to page one.

Check in was easy, very simple stay. The hotel itself is quite dated, but very clean so it was fine. Indoor pool was warm and great for the kids and hot tub was lovely. Breakfast was simple, but included so we were happy. Great location for Plattsburgh shopping.

Didn't expect much but it fit our needs
All in all, we really didn't expect a lot. We try to look for the basics: cleanliness, safety and location. The pool was good size with the hot tub very close so the kids could be seen and monitored. The hours of the pool were very kind from 8:00am to 10:00 p.m. The towels they provide you for the pool at the front desk are good for children but not for a normal size adult. Ask for two and you may get dry, from the coarse towels. The room was adequate size for a family of four. The deadbolt to the adjoining room was installed upside down but still works. The chairs were a bit rickety (one had a nail sticking out) and there are cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling and floors. The bathroom door was all water damaged on the inside. The vent didn't work more than likely resulting in the water damage on the door from the condensation. The beds were adequate, comfortable enough for the kids. Staffing was decent. A small mix of kind staff and the unintelligible. Location is right across from Walmart with a busy surrounding of restaurants and shops. Overall the ambient noise was quiet. The inclusive breakfast buffet was decent, stocked pretty well with eggs, sausage, Make your own waffles, cereals juices and coffee with some fruit. If you're looking for a quick stay it will definitely suit the needs. If you're looking for ambience and luxury, this is not it. Pricing was decent for what you got. Ample parking with short walks to and from the entrances/exits.
