I would give this resort more than 5 stars! We were a little worried about traveling to Mexico during the pandemic. I’m so glad that we did! The resort is impeccably clean! The staff and management make it their top priority to keep their guests safe. I want to recognize our butler, Alberto. He went over and beyond to make sure we were happy! Also, a shout out to Manuel who works at the beach! My goodness! He’s such a hard worker making sure everyone had drinks and food. We travel to the Riviera Maya about 3 to 4 times a year and love exploring different resorts each time. This is definitely on the top of our favorite list!

The resort was beautiful and the staff was amazing. Daniel and Victor were great. They were informative, polite and very attentive when we lounged at the pool or the beach. The La Palapa restaurant and staff set the tone every morning with great service and breakfast. We loved our entire experience here.

The water park, pirates ship area, The Reserve swim up bar/pool, and having a concierge/butler were the best parts for us. The free supervised kids club was nice to have as well for a respit for the parents. However it is only available 10-1 and 2-5 and everything is outside due to Covid. I think it is for ages 5-10. But I also saw a sign saying ages 5-14 elsewhere. So I’m not sure the max age. My 10 yr old son was willing to go just so hubby and I could have a couple hours at the spa, and he had his 5 and 8 yr old brother with him there. So he still had fun. However, he seemed a little too old for the activities. There is an indoor kids club area and game room that looks more exciting for pre-teen/young teens, but due to Covid it is closed off. But it was nice having the supervision available for a small break one of the days. The staff there was VERY good with the kids. My kids loved the whole resort and the water park and reserve pool were amazing. Also the bar at the reserve pool serves GOOD drinks and you are treated like VIP there. Worth it. Sailing on the hobby boat was cool and the food at most restaurants was excellent. Great is the main buffet. It was really not good at all. At Mole it is hard to tell what you are ordering bc it’s so fancy, but do it! So good!! The pork leg, the sea bass, the spicy chicken soup, and the salad are beautiful and amazing. My kids even ordered real meals just to try something new and gourmet and enjoyed it.

The resort is very nice. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. In general, it met our expectations. The staff/service was some of the best we've had at a resort. They took great care of us and gave special attention to our 5 year old son. The staff was by far the best part of this experience. Everyone from reception/housekeeping/bartenders/restaurant/concierge were very good. We appreciated that there weren't people constantly walking around trying to pressure us into some sort of timeshare/spa treatment/activity/presentation/etc. Our suite and all of the facilities were well maintained. The variety of pools suited our needs. Always able to find a shady spot to set up shop. One comment: they have a no reserving chairs policy - which I truly appreciate - but it was taken overboard. One day all three of us were swimming and we came back to find our towels and bag of personal belongings had been thrown in a big pile off to the side as the "no reserving chairs lady" came by removing the "reserved chairs". And we heard/saw this happen to others as well. The beach isn't much to speak of, but hard to hold that against the resort. They try to keep it nice, but the seaweed was BAD. If you want to spend much time at the beach, be prepared for seaweed and the stench that comes with it. Again, I don't hold this against the resort. The food was ok. Nothing great, nothing horrible. As I said, overall, we were pleased with the resort. Don't know if we'll go back though.

We really liked the layout. The property is kept very clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. We didn’t like that we were penalized for bringing children in that at time there family side lacked entertainment at night while the adult side got a DJ or a band. We also didn’t like that the pools closed so early. ESP since you could NOT swim in the ocean. We love the activities crew. They were a lot of fun but spread thin across the hotel. They need more staff for that.
