This property is considered a 5 star resort but it did mot feel like it. Customer service in dining areas can be improved. There should be food around the pools area to that should be served. If you are at the pool you have to go to the buffet there is no food options at poolside. Long wait times to get golf cart to go ome point to another there should be more golf carts. Overall cleanliness not as expected. Rooms are old and bathroom has no exhaust. Rooms are not clean. Overall 2-3 stars out of five. Ok resort.

I liked the nightly shows. The variety in the buffets. The pools were marvellous. The rooms were spacious with outstanding bathrooms ( huge jetted tub and awesome showers) Only thing I did not like was the thought of putting dirty toilette paper into the trash instead of flushing it away…so I brought biodegradable toilette paper I specially ordered for the trip ( I read previous reviews lol) Great stay all around, Staff we’re wonderful!

By far the worst resort I have stayed on. Staff was extremely unhelpful. The resort is huge, and there was barely any shuttles going around. The food in the dining hall was completely garbage, and you had to book the restaurants 2 days in advance, and even then it was usually booked up.

The bad: -Behind the toilet was disgusting, moldy and clearly not cleaned for maybe months -Our AC didn’t work upon arrival -Our fridge was broken -There was a large hole in the screen door at the bottom that allowed wild life and bugs to get in -Our door locks were broken twice within 24 hours. They claim the battery died twice. We waited over 30 minutes for someone to come let us into our room after being told it would be a 5 minute wait -There was no outlet above, below or beside the left side of the beds nightstand -The TV was tiny and very old -There was no lock on the outside of the swim out door -There is only one shuttle and it takes up to 45 minutes to pick people up. This is a big resort so expect lots of walking and no shuttle -The wait for a drink at the bar was crazy. They are under staffed and for the most part the staff aren’t tentative -There are lots of bars on the property but after 8pm it was a 15 minute walk to an open bar from our room -The deadbolt on the door doesn’t keep the staff out -Our swim out room didn’t connect to a swim up bar but the swim outs on the Sunset side do -The theatre is indoors and doesn’t have enough drink tables -Entertainment is mediocre -Resort doctor is expensive (185US$ Perscriptions) The good: -Food is good and always available -In general the resort is well kept -Lots of pools -Lots of cool wildlife -Three swim up bars -Cute little nightclub -The staff that are good are great. 3/5

The infrastructure is fine - a bit outdated, but very enjoyable. Food on the other hand is terrible!!!!

Absolutely loved this resort. All of the food was great, staff were friendly and welcoming, and the shuttles to Playa Del Carmen made day trips easy. Shout out to Hugo for helping us plan excursions that perfectly matched all of our wants!
