Oceanfront getaway
Beautiful place, close to everything. Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant next door would bring food and beverages to us when we were on the beach. Only thing we didn’t like was a group that had five children in total, they took over the pool area and were very loud. We spent those days on the beach. Once they left, it was absolutely much more relaxing, and quieter. We would love to stay here, but maybe a different time.

Location, location, location
The location is amazing and right on the beach. It has a shared pool which overlooks the ocean. They do pickup the beach chairs fairly early I feel like (around 4ish). Just so you know you are super close to 5th Avenue and it gets loud at night with music and it is every night (at least when we visited around Easter). We use a sound machine but you could still hear it. Take some earplugs. The staff is very good at taking care of the place. We walked to Walmart a few times, Benito Juarez Avenue to eat, and there is a fruit stand located at Centro, 77710 Playa del Carmen which has fruit you can purchase or they have already cut up fruit that they will add yogurt, granola, and honey onto and it is so good. It is walking distance from the room. Also Ay Taco (Calle 8) is walking distance from this room and at the plaza near there every weekend they have vendors selling food and handmade items. The kids love the playground there also. Don’t miss La Espiga Panadería Centro which is roughly a 5 minute walk from the room. You can probably literally walk just about anywhere from this room. No shortage of food options, coffee, gelato, drinks. Amorino gelato is amazing. We even walked to Calle 38 which was a good trek from the room but still doable. The driver he recommends was able to help us out. You need to email with him just so you know. He can get someone to get you anywhere. A very safe area to stay and walk around. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing location, you feel like ur on ur own mini resort. The beach club and restaurant next door comes by occasionally to get u food and drinks so you really get the resort vibe. loved that theres a washer and dryer. The location on 5th avenue is very convenient. AC in all the rooms work great. Staff and property manager are so welcoming and nice. The 24/7 security is a must and they have it!

Stayed here from nov 2-11. We booked this unit last minute and condo owner Joseph was very quick to respond and get things organized for us to stay on such short notice. The location is amazing. Was just what we wanted right off the ocean. Very nice beach area right out front with some great Rock tide pools for kids to play in and look for sea critters. Water was warm and the ocean floor quite sandy to walk right into. Minimal seaweed during our stay. Even had a nice fellow that puts out beach chairs and umbrellas just for the condo on the beach. Will bring you food from restaurants and get you discounts on massages from next door. Nice perk. Infinity pool was amazing. Heated and very nice to swim and hang out in and literally be right off the beach. The unit itself is in a very nice spot in the building, right in the middle set back a bit on 2nd floor so you don’t get as much noise as the outside units would. Very loud beach club music on either side of complex. We were pleasantly surprised when we stepped into unit, very spacious and welcoming space for family of 5. Master bed was comfy. Other 2 beds were pretty hard but ok for kids. Was nice to have them provide continual bottled water jugs and never had shortage of toilet paper. Came to empty our garbages more often because they knew we had a baby. The staff at the condo were very helpful. Were there upon checkin and available quickly upon text if anything was needed. Had some issues with washing machine not working but they gave us access to another condo unit to do Laundry. Our dishwasher was out of commission the entire time so hopefully they will look to replace that soon. Was just a short half block walk to get onto 5th ave and less than 10 minute walk to access pier for ferry to Cozumel. We did most grocery shopping at Walmart and Mega which was about 15 minute walk with the family. Would definitely recommend staying here

Great location, right on the beach and very close to restaurants and shops, but still intimate, secure and relatively quiet. The property manager met us early on and helped with any needs and concerns. The on-site staff was also very courteous and helpful.

Amazing Vacation
We were very impressed when we arrived at our condo on 12/24! The location is perfect (one block from 5th Ave, 5 minute walk to the ferry going to Cozumel, and right on the ocean)! The pictures were exactly as shown, staff were very friendly, and the complex is very safe and secure. The owner has a transportation contact, so you can get picked up from the airport ($70 each way), and they'll stop at a grocery store on the way to the condo. They also arrange rides to anywhere you'd like to go (they took us to Tulum for $150 round trip, but we were gone about 5 hours, and he stopped at his favorite taco stand and waited for us to eat, and stopped at a grocery store. Once you book, the owner is very responsive and sends you all of the information you need for your stay, including the name of the property manager in the event you want to ask questions, get recommendations, etc before you arrive. We had 7 adults (mom/dad + 5 adult kids) in this 2 bedroom condo, and it worked out just fine (one person slept on the pull-out in the living room). The kitchen has every necessity to cook all meals there, plus 5-gallon water canisters. The master bedroom has a patio door going out to the balcony. The balcony is spacious with a nice big table/chairs, so you can sit and look at the ocean, play games, etc. The beach is a public beach, but we had absolutely no issues (no possible way to get up into the condo area and pool as there are gates that have a code to get in/out). There is staff on the beach to put out chairs and umbrellas for you, and there are restaurants to each side of the beach where you can order food and drinks. The only negative (slight) to the beach was right directly in front the water is a bit rocky, but literally to each side of that section it was sandy (the beach has amazing sand). We loved it so much we actually thought about purchasing a condo for our own use and investment! Thank you, Joseph!

This 2 bedroom condo is stunning! It's a 5-star condo, on the beach, in downtown Playa, close to all the action. The swimming pool is delightful and pushes right up to the beach. You can literally stand at the end of the pool and overlook the beach at the beach. The condo has a full kitchen and a washer dryer. You will love this place.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The majority of the other guests were return visitors as well who were so helpful with requests on where to eat and where to go, so friendly. The condo was amazing. Location, location, location! It’s at the beach and only 1/2 a block from the 5th Avenue action. The beach has beautiful soft sand. Seaweed was plentiful. The Luna beach attendant set up loungers, umbrellas and tables wherever we wanted and the beach bars on either side compete for business serving drinks and food. Super nice for hanging at the beach. The condo is spacious and has a great view of the beachfront pool overlooking the Caribbean sea. Master bedroom views the sea and is huge. The kitchen is nicely appointed. The barbeque worked well. There was an issue with an air-conditioner. We told Edith and she arranged for repair after which it worked great. Painters were a bit noisy during the day grinding steel railings. None of the three DVD players worked. Edith replaced one however it was of poor quality and could only produce black and white. Edith was attentive and very helpful, she even helped us out with ordering pizza for delivery one night. The cleaners did a great job and made cute towel figures. Security was polite and would open the gate for us. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the condo for a great getaway that feels like a home away from home.

5-Stars! Away from noisy 5th Avenue. Pool and beach are terrific. Marble floored 2 bedroom unit is stunning! Underground parking available, too. Security guard at front door and often on the beach. Safes in both rooms. King in master. 2 double beds in second bedroom. I love this place!

Amazing place to stay!
My boyfriend and I went to Playa for a nice Mexican vacation! Joe the owner and Edith the onsite property manager were both great hosts and very willing to help with all of our needs. The condo was very warm and inviting, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for our weekend get away! Being steps away from the beach, we enjoyed most of our time there as well as many nearby restaurants that did not disappoint! We will definitely recommend this place to friends and be back ourselves in the near future!

Can’t Wait to Go Back!!! I went to Playa with my wife and 2 year old. The condo had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated and huge views of the ocean. Joe, the owner and Edith the onsite property manager were great and not only answered all our questions but gave great tips on restaurants and things to do. Luna is centrally located and you are literally a few steps away from everything you can want. The beach f is right out your door and 5th Avenue is on the backside of the building. The kitchen had all the appliances and kitchen ware you could hope for. It also had all the amenities, shampoo, lotions, laundry detergent, lots of towels, hair dryers and even coffee packets for our 1st morning. We are already planning are next stay!

Spectacular in Every Respect.
This property exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable. The property was immaculate, well furnished, extremely safe, and very comfortable. The property manager and her staff went out of their way to make us welcome, help us with the kids, and make our stay increadibly fun and yet relaxing. The pool is fantastic, the beautiful beach is just steps away, and the service from the nearby restaurants (especially Fusion) is attentive and beyond friendly. The location is second to none. It is right in between the beach and 5th. I read one poor review of this property, just prior to arrival, and they could not be more off base. The multitude of other glowing reviews are spot-on and accurate. The owner and property manager were very attentive, polite, and quite frankly, a pleasure to have helping us on our travels. My wife, our two children, and I cannot wait to return to paradise and we will definitely be staying here in the future. We typically vacation to Hawaii for a few weeks each year, but, after receiving some of the finest service and accommodation that I can recall, we will be coming back to Playa and this wonderful property (with and without the kids) for years to come. Playa del Carmen is a beautiful area and Luna Encantada is a hidden gem within. Thank you to Edith and everyone else at Luna Encantada for an increadibly memorable and wonderful family trip. We hope to visit you all again very soon.

Beautiful Unit and Views - Wonderful stay - Highly Recommend
We had a fantastic experience at Luna Encantada H2!!! The unit is spacious, beautifully decorated, and has perfect views of the ocean. Our family enjoyed the pool and beach, and this is a great place to bring kids. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine to enjoy the view. Extremely relaxing and beautiful. The Owner is very nice, accommodating, and easy to work with. Same with the Property Manager and all of the other staff members we met. We were treated very well by everyone, felt welcome, and had no issues at all. Harassed by Property Manager my entire stay
My suite slept a total of 8 people and was also advertised as sleeping 8. Master bedroom with king size bed, 2nd bedroom with two doubles and a pull out couch that was also a double. I booked the room stating there would be 3 guest. I travelled from abroad with myself, fiancé and daughter. The extra space was a bonus if needed since there was family that lived close by that would visit frequently. After booking we invited a family member from Moreila, MX. He and I actually had a shorter stay. Out of the 5 nights booked we stayed for 3, arriving Friday and departing Sunday. My fiancé’s brother lived close by in Playa del Carmen with his wife and 4 children. The two had not seen one another in almost 7 years. He visited morning til night as that was the purpose of our travel. He and his wife grocery shopped and cooked for each day, got us around the city and helped get us the best deals on our excursions. Although we respected the property made limited use of the facilities the property manager harassed us the entire time. This caused the owner to also begin harassing us because she was in constant contact with him get bing him bad reports as if we were doing something wrong. Edith (property manager) was contacted to open the door to the suite because we were not given the lockbox code. When she came to open the door giving us access she was met by my fiancé, daughter, his brother, wife and 4 kids. From that moment she was very displeased wanted us to vacate the premises. Anytime we or a visitor went outdoors to the pool I began getting complaints from the owner. On Saturday Edith told us she was calling the police if we didn’t vacate in an hour. I knew we were doing no wrong so I was intimidated at all by that threat. I even stated to her that our guest could show her their I.D.’s showing that they lived in the same town. And she did not want to see them. They stated that I was untruthful when I booked. I stated 3, I actually had 4 guest that stayed overnight but I was very confused because the cost of the suite was for up to 8 people. If I chose to have 8 ppl stay, what would it have mattered?? Very displeased with property manager!!!!
