Just got home 2 days ago and writing this LONG review is my way of saying don’t want the vacation to end. We stayed here as a family of 4 (4.5 & 7) for 5 nights. We booked through Expedia 7 months ahead, nature view suite without family concierge. Here is our experience and how we feel about this AI resort. Prearrival: About one week prior to our stay, Paradisus sent us a welcome message and pre arrival form through Expedia and a concierge messaged us to welcome us. We asked for restaurant reservations and they were arranged. Arrival: We got to the resort around 10:30am. There is no room available that early but we could leave our luggage and enjoy all the resort amenities, food, pools, kids club and restaurants. Our son had gotten really sick on the plane ride there. He took a long nap in the check-in lobby area with my husband. Edwardo from the guest service took our phone number so he could let us know when our room would be ready. He also sent us the weekly activity through WhatsApp. They checked on us multiple times to see if my son was ok and apologized for couldn’t get the room ready sooner for us. We got our room around 2pm. This whole time my daughter and I walked around the resort and enjoyed our fresh coconut, tacos at Blue Agave and small treats from the check in lobby. Room: We booked a garden view suite, they gave us a pool view suite. It made no difference to us. I think they did that bc a pool view room was ready sooner. They were ready to send the sick kid

The staff was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make sure every detail was perfect. The room was beautiful, clean, and offered stunning views. I particularly enjoyed the benefits of the family concierge and our personal representative was amazing. I also loved the on-site amenities, especially the pool and spa. They also had events and activities for the little ones to enjoy such as live shows and games. They also had a place for parents to drop off their kids which was awesome. They do activities with them and actually take them around the resort to engage in various activities and attend events. I would definitely return to Paradisus on my next visit—I can’t recommend it enough!

This is our second time back to Paradisus Playa Del Carmen. It's a really amazing family friendly resort that just really works for our family. We get the master suite and love the huge room. The restaurants are great, the pools are wonderful and the staff if amazing. We like to make our way around the resort during the day and get in a little beach time, pool time and sometimes the amazing water park. It's a real luxury experience at a family friendly laid back resort for a reasonable price. I highly recommend. We will be back again next year.

Compact, walkable hotel. 2-4 minute walk to anywhere on the property. The beach was great, wonderful waterpark for kids to play. Variety of restaurants with good food, availability and service. The buffet had somewhat of a limited selection, but the food was well made and buffet food variety is not a priority for me. The dinners at the restaurants were great.

We received an upgraded room and it was beautiful, it had a bedroom, so it made it convenient as i get up earlier than my wife.The staff was incredible, very friendly and drink service was incredible. The restaurant food was really good but buffet was underwhelming, and it was difficult to get a decent reservation time. Beachside drinks were limited and I was told my bracelet wasnt good one day, so a waitress had to serve us from the main building which was a long walk away. We went with our grandkids, I am 61 and had a ball in the kids waterpark. Overall very satisfied, better buffet, Better beach bar with snacks would be a big bonus.

Did not like the fact I was getting hassled every day on spa treatments , and timeshares a big turn off. Also when it says it all inclusive resort there were restrictions were I could not go to the restaurants unless I paid $120 more a night. I was told when I got there kind of disappointed.
