Alcohol was great, rooms cold. Food was not great. Breakfast is the worst unless you live on fruit. Italian restaurant is great, steak restaurant not so much. The margarita is great for lunch. Too many vendors on the beach and I do not recommend buying excursions on beach your all inclusive meal on the excursion would be 2 taquitos rice and bean soup. That’s all you get to eat in 10 hours. You will also wait 40 minutes in a can as they have a sales meeting and then wait another 45 minutes to get into wherever you are going because you need your tickets. For the price nice resort with great staff

We stayed at RIU Yucatan with high hopes, but unfortunately, it fell short in several ways. Upon arrival at the Italian restaurant, our group of 14 was met with an unprofessional and unwelcoming host who seemed annoyed by our party size. As “compensation,” we were invited to their Mexican restaurant, which was already included in the package—hardly an effort to make up for the poor service. The room itself was disappointing. The TV was broken, and while the A/C worked, it didn’t adjust properly, staying on regardless of the temperature set. To make matters worse, we encountered small cockroach-like bugs in the bathroom area. Even after maintenance sprayed, the bugs didn’t go away entirely. The food was another low point. While the breakfast buffet was decent, everything else was subpar. On top of that, several members of my family fell ill during our stay, losing a day each to sickness. I sincerely hope their food sanitation is reviewed. The showers were a nightmare, with water temperature fluctuating between scalding hot and freezing cold. It’s a frustrating situation when you can’t even enjoy a proper shower. On a positive note, the hospitality staff were excellent and maintained a positive attitude throughout our stay, which was a small saving grace. However, the lack of room service and overall quality of the experience make it hard to recommend this hotel. Overall, RIU Yucatan didn’t meet our expectations, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Nos gusto mucho que el bar abre 24 horas. También nos encanto mucho un buffet que abre 24 horas. La playa parece una piscina. Este hotel deberia tener un salon de juegos como el riu lupita Elevator please 3 floors without elevator!!!¡¡ Este hotel lo recomiendo pero tiene 3 pisos y no tiene elevadores!¡!!!!

Nice all inclusive resort. Service is great but options on property could be better. Only 2 specialty dining restaurants and menus are always the same. Pools and hot tub aren’t heated so not very comfortable going swimming in winter months

The property was very clean, staff courteous and friendly. The entertainment crew a lot of fun especially the pool party and Neon party on Fridays. The specialty restaurants Italian and Asian were very good but the buffets although alot of variety were kind of hit and miss, the steak was very tough but the smoked porkchop and fish very good. The beds were comfortable but pillows were not. Overall, I would return. Beach very clean, water crystal clear and warm.
