TV did not work. I requested someone to help and they send someone indicating that the channels weren’t available due to weather. During my stay, no one came to clean nor to take out the trash. We had to call. And last but not least my daughter requested a strawberry frappe and was given one with alcohol. She did not intake it. She did ate the cherry. In approximately two minutes the waitress came to the drink back with barely any explanation of what had occurred. She just asked if my daughter had drank it for which I noted that she did not but she did ate the cherry that was indeed in contact with the alcohol. I stood to request an explanation not knowing that a manager was there and he NEVER SAID ANYTHING nor did he take any action. Although it was just a cherry, we observed her for at least half an hour and made sure she ate. Went to the front desk to provide a complaint. Nothing happen and I ended calling 911 and an ambulance to make sure my daughter was ok since they didn’t to anything, just offered to pay what we had consume for that night, for which I declined. The manager that changed during the tour ended up laughing at the situation. Thank god my daughter was perfectly fine.
They had no type of protocol for a situation like this. It is understandable that this can occur by mistake. But what happens after, the actions you take to make sure your clients are ok should be in place.
Instead they made sure to justify and minimize the situation. Just an apology !!!
