The hotel is really nice good size. The staff are friendly and pleasant. The room was nice and comfortable. The indoor pool area was fantastic having 2 hot tubs really is nice

We love staying here, this was our second trip to Sandpoint and we stayed at the Hotel Ruby both times. The grounds around the hotel are so thoughtfully developed with a walking path, pond and fenced dog area. They’ve also created two outdoor fireplaces with seating for people to gather. Such a nice touch. Much more than just a hotel.

We have stayed here before. The room is nice, but the bathroom is really small with no counter space. Housekeeping was not the greatest. We stayed 4 nights and bedding was not changed. Tyler at the front desk was great and quickly resolved loud toddlers who were acting uncontrollably in an adjacent room late in the evening.

Customer Service needs improvement
Service at front desk was poor. We needed to make a change and get a bigger room and willing to pay the difference but staff were not willing to work with us. A Manager could of easily handled it but not the case. Tables were not cleaned at Breakfast. Room was clean. No coffee offered in the room?!? Had to go downstairs to lobby to get coffee each time. For $200+ a night will not be returning. Staff member stated we are not a chain, which we liked as typically customer service is that much better. This was not the case in our experience.

Highly overpriced for what we were expecting. Queen basic room was tiny. Pictures made everything look much better than it was. If it was half the cost, we wouldnt have been so disappointed. This hotel was nicely remodled and staff very friendly, but a very basic, very average hotel.
