A very nice new hotel in the middle of town. Staff was extremely friendly. Excellent breakfast and very quiet rooms. The bikes they lend for free are nearly new. There was underground city parking across the street for which we paid about 10 EUR a night (not part of the hotel, but useful to know).

The hotel itself is beautiful, with modern amenities and a good sized room. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. A complimentary wine and cheese was offered upon our arrival. The only small things that we noted were the king size bed is not actually a king, and there are not near enough staff working in the restaurant. There was one waiter for the entirety of the indoor and outdoor seating area and we waited over an hour for him to come back after taking our drink order. The hotel restaurant had amazing food, but the drinks came from the one bartender upstairs and we waited nearly an hour for cocktails. Otherwise this was a great stay!

Beautiful, simple & elegant! Loved hotel & the staff were terrific! They couldn’t have been more pleasant & helpful. Restaurant & bar were great too. Hotel is on a street closed to traffic which was nice for noise etc but made it difficult to find. Also there is no parking. There was a garage nearby that was convenient, it would have been helpful if hotel informed us of the garage’s address prior to our arrival. But would definitely stay here again & highly recommend it.

The hotel is in a (renovated, of course) very old and historical building very close to the center of Ponta Delgada. The pool is worth visiting; it is located in what used to be a storage area and has many stone arches typical of the houses in Ponta Delgada (except that these are very old).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 3 nights at NINE DOTS as we explored Sao Miguel. A newly renovated space means everything is clean and works as expected. Loved the high ceilings and wide hallways and room was also spacious and clean. Staff was helpful when looking for dinner ideas and finding a more cost-effective parking option. The Spa pool was perfect - warm, relaxing, inspired design. Would certainly stay here again.

Our stay at NINE DOTS was absolutely fantastic from the moment we arrived until check out. They only opened in March so this is even more impressive. The staff was so incredibly kind and helpful, the room was clean and very nice, and the location is walkable to so much. The restaurant, the pool, the bar... everything was excellent. No complaints about anything. We well definitely stay here again when we return to Ponta Delgada.

Perfect boutique hotel in town. Excellent sleep, quiet rooms, lovely bed linen and delicious breakfast. The spa was a bonus and transports you to a Swiss health resort after a hard day hiking or boating it is the ultimate relaxation. Staff were amazing and couldn’t be more helpful. Have stayed in a few of the other best hotels on the island and this beats them all!

Honeymoon We had the honor of being the first guests at the hotel and spending our honeymoon there. We were picked up at the airport by the manager and taken to the hotel. I have NEVER seen such a hotel emerge out of nowhere and immediately surpass all the hotels on the island. The attention to detail is stunning. The decor throughout the hotel is exquisite and of very high quality. The room is wonderfully quiet, and every day there was a fresh and clean room with fresh fruits and new drinks. EVERY request was like a command to the hotel. The staff is absolutely friendly and accommodating. Every smallest question was professionally answered immediately. I have rarely seen such friendly, professional, and at the same time unobtrusive staff. The breakfast was delicious every day. The kitchen fulfilled every wish. You were always warmly welcomed to eat. The staff remembered our preferences and paid attention to every small detail, tailoring everything to us. The wellness area is very clean and very relaxing. Incredibly great pool, and the Turkish bath is very good. The hotel's own bar is also the best bar on the entire island. Even on the day of departure, there was a packed lunch. It's not a pompous hotel. It's a quiet luxury that no hotel on the island can replicate. This elegance, in the middle of the Atlantic, is worth every penny. My room was an oasis of confort. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the elegant decor, was meticulously curated. The Bar experience was an amazing journey, with each drink a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. The amenities were perfect, from the serene hammam to the gorgeous pool.
