The Villa do Sol is located at 80 meters above sea level surrounded picturesquely on a steep slope by the gorgeous green of the island. On a 400 sqm plot, the villa is surrounded by an exotic garden with banana trees and citrus. Not for nothing Madeira is called the island of eternal spring.
The villa offers 120 m² living space all amenities for a perfect holiday. To get out of the garage by a staircase in the open living room. On the ground floor the spacious fully fitted kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and coffee maker. The adjoining modern living room has a TV, free WiFi connection, offering breathtaking views of the sea. Through a sliding window you reach the terrace with the 7,5x4,0 m pool. In addition, there are around the villa further 3 terraces and 2 balconies, so you can enjoy all the sunny hours of the day.
Your bedroom is spacious and equipped with a double bed (size 180 x 210) and generous closets. En Suite You will find the bathroom with toilet, shower and bathtub.
If you arrive by three to six people, there is also on the first floor of the villa. Here are two more bedrooms with double beds 1x2m and generous fitted wardrobes and an en suite balcony with magnificent sea view. On the upper floor there is also another bathroom with toilet and shower.

Stunning Ponta do Sol Villa
The house is beautiful. The pool area is an amazing place to take in the views, sunsets and relax. The directions and accompanying literature provided by the host are very informative and answered all of our questions about using the house amenities. Highly recommend taking advantage of the bakery delivery truck that drives past every morning at ~9:15. There is a nespresso machine and drip/filter coffee maker for caffeine needs. If we’re ever back in Madeira, we will hope to stay here again. Highly recommend!

Lovely villa
My husband and I stayed in the villa for 11 nights the villa was spotlessly clean plenty of towels sheets etc there was sanitiser available There is lovely views of the ocean ponta do sol and the hills surrounding the villa The garden round the villa has flowers shrubs and trees plenty of lizards A good walk down into ponta do sol will keep you fit and a swim in the pool was nice when came back up Bit tight getting in and out the garage a few times it got easier Could of done with more toilet roll, washing up liquid, toilet cleaner had to buy some which we don't usually have to.

lovely home in the perfect location
This was so easy, lovely home with beautiful view in a great location for watching the sunset, lots of little spots to set up for lunch, drinks, sunbathing, yoga. Precarious drive to get in and out of, but soon got the hang of it. Bakery van drives passed every morning to buy fresh bread. We had a problem with water pressure caused by local leak, we got instant response from the owners letting us know what was happening. Washing machine, tumbledrier and dishwasher, gorgeous pool. Only problem we had was that the air-conditioning didn't work in the sitting room, but we didn't mention it so perhaps that was our fault! Wuill definitely go again we LOVED it.

A beautiful house with an amazing view, perfectly matches the photos! Lots of space for comfortable living, the climb up to the house without a car is a bit of a struggle, but it can replace a workout 😄 The villa helped us make some amazing memories, highly recommend :)

Great place to stay
We enjoyed our stay. The property was as described and shown in the photos. The villa was very clean and we were able to check in without contact. Roseann was quick to answer any questions by email. We had no problems, but are sure they would have been promptly dealt with given her attentiveness. All in all we had a lovely time and would wholeheartedly recommend this villa.

Great experience - beautiful island!
A nice villa, with a stunning view! slight leak on the toilet after we arrived - but the plumber arrived the same day and resolved the issue (there were two other toilets though!) Very attentive and a great place - will probably stop there again next Christmas too!! Thanks for an enjoyable experience.

Traumhaus mit leichten Macken
Die Lage des Hauses ist absolut traumhaft. Wunderschöner Pool und toller Ausblick auf das Meer. Die Küche ist sehr groß und gut ausgestattet, ebenfalls das Wohnzimmer. Eigentlich ein Traum und bis dahin absolut 10 Punkte wert. Allerdings gibt es da auch einige Mängel, die die Punktzahl nach unten drücken. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass das Management gewechselt hat. Zumindest konnten wir Rose weder vor noch während unseres Urlaubs erreichen. Der Vermieter gab uns kurz vor Urlaubsantritt Kontaktdaten einer anderen Person. In der zweiten Nacht wurden wir von einem lauten Geräusch geweckt, man hatte das Gefühl mitten in einem Tornado zu sein. Dieses Geräusch kam aus dem einzig verschlossenen Zimmer in den Haus. Wir haben Gilberto so verstanden, dass die Geräusche mit der Wasserversorgung in Zusammenhang stehen. Die Terrasse zu den Bergen hin ist nicht benutzbar. Es handelt sich eher um einen Trümmerhaufen. Die Spülung des Gäste WC lief nach wie vor leicht, aber durchgängig. Auch roch es, wenn man nicht öfters die Fenster/Türen regelmäßig geöffnet hat, muffig. Einige (Schiebe)Türen ließen sich gar nicht öffnen, eine schloss nicht mehr. Dies hinterlies ein mulmiges Gefühl. Man kann natürlich, wie einige Personen das getan haben, über diese Mängel hinwegsehen und 10 Punkte vergeben, wir fanden allerdings, dass diese nicht gerechtfertigt wäre, zumal auch wir noch einige Augen zugemacht haben. Wenn die Mängel behoben werden, dann wäre das Prädikat "Premium" wieder berechtigt.

Sehr schönes Haus
Wir haben uns in dem Haus rundherum wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was zum Leben benötigt wird. Der tolle Pool und die Terrassen runden das Ganze ab. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen!

Schönes Haus mit toller Aussicht
Ohne Frage war das Haus sehr schön. Sehr gute Ausstattung. Der Ausblick aufs Meer toll. Leider gab es einige Dinge zu bemängeln. Wir kamen am Haus an und fanden nicht wie vereinbart den Hausschlüssel. Leider hat es dann ca. 3 Stunden gedauert, bis der Verwalter endlich kam. Das Haus war noch nicht gereinigt. Der Sonnenschirm war immer noch nicht vorhanden. Es wurde uns seitens des Verwalters zugesagt, dass er uns einen besorgt. Der kam dann an unserem Abreisetag (nach 18 Tagen). Die Lounge war nicht zu benutzen, ungepflegt, dreckig. Das Wasser in der Toilette lief ständig. Einige Fenster waren defekt. Fliegengitter an den Fenstern wären auch super. Auch war unserer Meinung nach etwas an der Pumpe am Pool defekt. Die Gartendusche ging nicht. Nichts desto trotz sind dies Mängel, die gut zu beheben sind.

Traumhaftes Haus in schöner Lage
Es ist ein sehr schönes Haus in toller Lage. Die Küche ist gross und hervorragend ausgestattet. Auf Anfrage vor der Buchung durften wir das obere Schlafzimmer benutzen. Dies zeichnet sich durch einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer aus. Wir haben uns in den zwei Wochen dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider müssen auch Mängel angesprochen werden: In der Gästetoilette lief dauerhaft ganz leicht die Spülung. Dort war auch der Fenstergriff an der Verschalung gebrochen. Der Profi-Sonnenschirm war faktisch nicht vorhanden. Der Schirm ist vom Gestell aus uns unbekannten Gründen abgeschnitten worden. Wir haben uns mit einem kleinen Sonnenschirm aus der Garage beholfen. Die Liege im ersten Stock auf dem Balkon des Schlafzimmers ist aufgrund des Alters so porös geworden, dass die seitliche Lehne abgebrochen ist, als ich mich rauflegen wollte. Der Kescher für die Poolreinigung ist ebenfalls veraltet und an der Aufhängung zur Stange auf einer Seite gebrochen. Für die Wasseroberfläche geht es. Bei Reinigung des Grunds wird es schwierig. In dem Hefter, in dem das Haus, seine Umgebung, Restaurants und Wanderungen sehr gut beschrieben werden, ist die Telefonnummer und Mailadresse der Kontaktperson vermerkt. Leider hat die Person sich weder auf Anruf, SMS und Mail gemeldet. Das ist sehr schade. Das sind alles Kleinigkeiten, die aber in der Summe den Eindruck etwas trüben. Dennoch haben wir uns wohl gefühlt. Bei Behebung der Kleinigkeiten ist dieses Urlaubsziel uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen,

Wunderschöne Villa mit Pool und Meerblick
Auf einer Klippe gelegen mit tollem Ausblicken hatten wir einen schönen Urlaub in einem super ausgestatteten Haus mit eigenem Pool. An die steile Anfahrt zum Haus und in die Garage musste man sich erst gewöhnen. Der Ort Ponta do Sol liegt fußläufig entfernt, aber es sind 100 Höhenmeter zu bewältigen. Einige schöne Levada Wanderungen kann man direkt vom Haus aus machen. Der Check in erfolgte kontaktlos und einige Dinge im/am Haus zeigen auch schon Gebrauchsspuren oder waren defekt, was aber den tollen Gesamteindruck nicht schmälert.

Urlaub mit Top Aussicht
Volle Punktzahl für diese Villa mit Aussicht in Sonnenlage. Es empfiehlt sich, ein Fernglas mitzunehmen. Wir hatten eine super Zeit hier und haben das Haus, den hübschen Garten, die Lage mit der wahnsinnig tollen Aussicht sehr genossen. Wie schon beschrieben, erfolgt die Schlüsselübergabe kontaktlos und ohne Probleme. Man darf allerdings nicht bange vor steilen Straßen sein. Dies gilt natürlich auch für die gesamte Insel. Das Haus gibt alles her, was benötigt wird, wenn nicht sogar noch mehr.....! Sicher ist auch mal Straßenverkehr zu hören, aber ist das nicht normal, wenn man selber mit einem Mietwagen ankommt? Wir waren rundherum zufrieden und sehr positiv angetan von unserem ersten Urlaub auf dieser wunderschönen Insel. Es wir sicher nicht der letzte gewesen sein.

Amazing!
We had such a wonderful time at Ponta do Sol and highly recommend this rental! The villa is very well maintained, equipped with everything you could possibly wish for, clean and very spacious. And we simpy could not get enough of this view! We loved the bakery van every morning and the short walk (+ elevator) to the center of Ponto do Sol where you can find a supermarket and several really nice restaurants. To say Madeira is beautiful is an understatement. It is just breathtaking in so many ways. I am 100% sure we will come back and I would also love come back to this beautiful property. Thank you for having us!

Me and my friend had a week at this beautiful home! It’s a great house with a private garden. It has everything to make it a perfect home for a holiday. If it wasn’t for a dirty pool (must mention that we had a storm two of the days) and that the cleaners start knocking on the windows 20 minutes before the check out time - it was a perfect stay.

Wunderschönes Haus mit Meerblick
Das Haus in der Nähe von Ponta do Sol ist eine wahre Perle. Moderne und komfortable Ausstattung, die Terrasse mit Meerblick, der Pool und der liebevoll bepflanzte Garten haben unseren Urlaub auf Madeira zu einem superschönen Erlebnis werden lassen. Die Schlüsselübergabe erfolgte kontaktlos, das Haus war sauber und die untere Etage für 2 Personen platzmäßig absolut ausreichend. In der großen, komplett ausgestatteten Küche kann man sich hervorragend austoben...wir haben in 10 Tagen nur einmal auswärts gespeist. Auch die sonstige Einrichtung des Hauses ist sehr geschmackvoll. Man merkt, dass der Besitzer dort auch selbst Urlaub macht. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können dieses Haus ohne Einschränkung sehr empfehlen. Vielen lieben Dank!
