This thoughtfully crafted villa boasts pristine amenities including a brand new Trex deck with 180 degree views of the Atlantic. Unique living spaces on all three levels make this a perfect get away for the extended family or large groups of friends. It will be hard to resist heading straight to the beach and the warm waves when you arrive!
The Space:
The two-story windows and spectacular views of the beach greet you as you enter the double doors on the main level which features an open concept floor plan boasting the family room with a fireplace and large screen TV, dining for your entire group and easy access to the deck which runs the entire length of the villa. Casa de la Playa features three primary bedroom suites. The main level primary bedroom leads directly to the deck and has its own en suite bath complete with washer and dryer. It also has an adjoining alcove bedroom with wet bar and access to the en suite bath with dual vanity, along with a new walk in shower.
The upper level includes north and south primary bedrooms, each with their own private ocean facing balconies and en suite baths. The owner’s retreat located at the north end—with its private sitting area—boasts a fireplace and an amazing shower room with rain shower and free-standing soaking tub for relaxing after a day at the beach. Also on the upper level is a Juliet balcony for amazing sunset views over they GTM Preserve.
The lower level is Casa de la Playa’s entertainment and game center of the home with pool table, pinball machine, treadmill, gaming table and 72 inch TV for those sporting events not to be missed. There is also a wet bar with beverage refrigerator and two bedrooms—the youth bunk room and the teen gaming room with its large screen TV and gaming system connections. Each room sleeps up to six comfortably and each has its own en suite bath with walk in shower. A full sized laundry room with double washers and dryers round out the lower level with access to the two double garages and lighted paver walk to the ocean facing deck where no doubt you will spend much of your time. The south garage holds all the beach toys, surfboards, boogie boards, standup paddle boards, beach chairs, umbrellas and tents you will need to enjoy your time on the beach. Along the south walkway there is a heated outdoor shower to rinse off all the sand and kids. Just off the kitchen on the deck you will find the gas grill for easy outdoor cooking.
When you are ready to explore what Ponte Vedra Beach and St. Augustine have to offer, you will find that you are almost equidistant from both prime locations. Fine dining and shopping are found 15-minutes to the north in Ponte Vedra Beach and the amazing attractions offered by the “Oldest City in the U.S.” are found 15-minutes to the south in St. Augustine with its marinas, St. George Street, Castillo de San Marco and amazing dining and shopping. Publix grocery stores and gas stations are found to the north and south less than 10 minutes away.
*Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced. Per County regulation, this house can accommodate 10 "occupants," excluding children 12 years of age or under. However, the house sleeps a total of 22.
Please note, that all guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement and provide a valid form of ID. The primary reservation holder must provide a Government-Issued ID that matches the name on the rental agreement. This is a requirement from St. Johns County. All guest's names (first and last) must be provided. The ages of any minors are required to be listed. This is for emergency and insurance purposes.

- All guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement and complete identity registration.
- Age restrictions apply. Please inquire for more information.
- All guests must be included on the guest list and not exceed the maximum number stated on the listing.
- To ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features, ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival and notify Portoro with any questions.
- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.
- Before check-in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival.
- Pets are not allowed at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without Portoro’s approval, there will be a cleaning charge of $500.
- We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one-hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check-in or late check-out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.
- The home has cameras for external monitoring only.
- HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both St. Johns County and the State of Florida require all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6.5% and the county requires 5%.
- LONG-TERM STAYS: (Snowbird, long-term rental). Contact Wren Beach Rentals by Portoro to discuss if a long-term stay discount applies to this listing. Stays over six months are waived from paying the State and Local Hotel Tax. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping. In compliance with our policies for long-term stays, we need to collect an additional cleaning fee for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed.
