Book it early! Esp. on weekends!
This is about the best hotel in the (greater near-Olympic National Park) area, others being in more of the "motel" range, it fills up quickly. I booked the last week before school, 6 weeks ahead of the time, and both weekends were already all full! (well, for the beach / N.W. section of the Olympic NP, you will want to stay in Forks anyways, Port Angeles is about 3 hours from that part.) It is clean, comfy, has a pool & spa (great for my 5-yr old, who gets tired of hiking easily), and in-room frig & microwave, making it easy to forget the not-so-important short-comings (e.g., the microwave is not powerful at all, heating up a cup of water took minutes; or that there isn't even coffee in the lobby - after all, this is a tourist town, and there's a McD just down the street.)

Very roomy, comfortable hotel
Very spacious, comfortable & clean rooms. Everything you would expect and more. Only complaint is that there were only two pillows on the king bed (one per person).

Best in Port Angeles
Nice hotel; clean and very very comfortable. We arrived late (after the late ferry from Victoria) and our room was ready and waiting. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Only problem was erratic WiFi; I had to leave the room to use it reliably. Very good stay; would certainly stay again.

The Lodge has a nice feel about it, very comfortable. Staff was engaging and very helpful. The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking in the National Park!

Reflection of the Olympic Peninsula
This hotel enhanced our trip to Olympic National Park by reflecting in its décor the highlights of that park: water, stone, greens, and wood. The soaring ceiling echoed the tall trees, while the trickle of water mirrored the rainfall. Our room was very comfortable, a welcome retreat at the end of a day of exploring.

Excellent Olympic Park Stay
When we were unable to secure lodging within the Olympic National Park, we booked the Olympic Lodge. It is convenient to everything in the park and very close to the ferry to Victoria. The in-house breakfast (for a fee) was good. Port Angeles is OK if you can't book in the park. The Olympic Lodge is the best choice in Port Angeles!

Great hotel for families
The staff on check in were excellent, I requested NOT to be near any vending machine, the staff very kindly said she put us in a quiet room. The room was lovely and big overlooking the golf course. It was spotless,as was the bathroom. Breakfast was very good, but they did have a problem with one of the appliances in the kitchen which limited the menu slightly, the waitresses were more than helpfully and always pleasant. The position of the hotel was good for dinning, the drive to the park was about 30 miles but this did not cause ant hardship. All things considered the hotel and our stay was top class. Nice pool and hot tub.

Don't know of a better place
This really seems like the best place to stay while in Port Angeles. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and roomy. The lodge itself had a great lobby, pool, hot tub, etc... And was located on a golf course. Front desk was incredibly helpful when I asked them about places to go. Great stay in PA.

Booked this hotel as it was close to the ferry but ended up really enjoying the town .The hotel was convenient and comfortable. Loved looking out onto the golf course.

Fantastic
This hotel represented our 6th night on an 8 night whirlwind tour of the Pacific Northwest. With the exception of a very charming Victorian B&B a block from the beach in Oregon, this hotel was the highlight of our accommodations. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the place in the least. Our room faced the back of the building, which overlooked a golf course, so I can't speak for the front. However, it sat back a block from the main thoroughfare, so it was probably just fine as well. The neighborhood had many restaurants from which to choose, and btw, the little lady told me the in-house oatmeal for breakfast was excellent. (I ate the leftover Chinese food from the night before, having been kept cold in the refrigerator and then heated up in the microwave.) The, there is location, location, location. Olympic National Park's Visitor center is very close-by. You MUST drive up to Hurricane Ridge, and although this sounds strange, hope for at least a partially cloudy day! Those snow-capped peaks are especially dramatic with clouds floating among them. We travel on a middle-class budget, and this hotel was the most expensive of our trip (although certainly not super-high priced at all), but it was totally worth it!

upscale hotel-nicest hotel in the area
Very nice hotel and lobby. I didn't expect the hotel to be right off 101 but the rooms are not located right on the highway. Front desk suggested an excellent retaurant.

Convenient and surprisingly nice!
Convenient stay for stop at hurricane ridge on our way around Olympic national park. Very friendly and helpful staff who had activity and restaurant suggestions. Room was nice, clean and comfortable, only bummer was that our TV wasn't working despite 2 employees trying to fix it, they had free WiFi though so we watched something online. Good stay otherwise!

On the way to Victoria BC
We were going to Victoria through Port Angeles and decided to visit the Olympia National Park before ferrying across. The hotel was great and roomy and comfortable in all respects but the price was a bit steep for that area. Port Angeles just doesn't appear to be a town that warrants that kind of pricing on a lodge with average provisions. Breakfast was not included and the flimsy single cup coffee "machine" was pretty bad with Luke warm water dispensed on some tasteless coffee. The shower was great with plenty of hot water and decent pressure. Neighborhood was quiet and easy to find.
