The space
Our guest room is furnished with a queen bed with all bedding, extra blankets and pillows. There are blackout curtains if you wish to sleep in.
The private guest bathroom across the hall is newly remodeled and provides a shower/tub and large vanity counter.
We have a roof deck that has spectacular water and mountain views and is ideal for casual relaxation. In fine weather, you may choose to camp out under the stars!
The great room has a comfortable sofa and two rocker/recliners. There is a breakfast counter that opens into the kitchen.
Guest access
We have an 82’ long, level paved driveway that provides plenty of off-street parking if you are travelling with your boat, trailer, bicycles or kayaks.
There is a gentle ramp to the front door.
Guests are welcome to use outdoor spaces including the roof deck, courtyard, and back yard fire pit.
Interaction with guests
By the nature of our home, a certain amount of social interaction is only natural. However, we gladly give our guests whatever space, privacy and quiet time that they wish.
Both Mozelle and Larry love to share their knowledge of the area and local history. We enjoy conversation and making friends with our guests.
Larry is a retired ranger, having worked 24 years in Olympic National Park. He managed the Wilderness Information Center for seven years prior to retirement.
Our cats, Carlos and Sylvia, may ask to be petted or sit on your lap.
