The room was clean and accessible to the outdoor and indoor pools. The breakfast was as expected not fancy but nourishing ! Unfortunately the indoor pool left a lot to be desired. It looked like it is on the downside of its lifespan and there was a lot of hair floating in the pool.

Beware. We booked 2 rooms in this property through Expedia. After several hours of booking, we learned that this hotel has a bed bug infestation. We were traveling with little kids, so we did not want to take a risk. We requested an immediate cancellation, but they did not do that. I’m disappointed that Expedia has these kind of places listed and then don’t consider the health hazards that they may cause. Do not recommend at all.

First of all it has an amazing location. Walmart, Canadian tire, LCBO and gas station are just right across, walking distance, in fact you can see them from the breakfast room. I got to park my car right in front of my room, this was amazing, easy access and very convenient. Indoor pool was super warm and hot-tub was definitely a plus. Not to mentioned the outdoor pool. I took my kids on a road trip to celebrate her b-day. The staffs helped me surprised my daughter with her b-day cake while she was eating breakfast. It was Amazing and thank you so much. Room was cleaned and spacious, i loved the TV technology, I connected on my phone and was able to watch Netflix. I must say, breakfast is pretty basic. One thing that got my kids and I worried is that the power went off twice for about 3-5 minutes. I plan on going back for sure.

Older hotel but well maintained. Has an outdoor pool and an indoor pool and hot tub. Close to several restaurants and about 10 minutes from lake Huron Beach access. Room was clean and beds were very comfy.

Don’t book this if you are very particular about cleanliness and neatness. There were flies in our room constantly, stains on the carpet, bedspreads and walls. Bed was super uncomfortable and the a/c unit was old and ran on just one speed. Only good thing about the room was the TV, fridge and microwave. Breakfast was decent so those were the only good things about the lodge. We checked out a day early since we could not stomach another night there!

Very well maintained and all amenities you need for a family. Bonus for us was the inside pool as we thought it only had outside pool; as well as, laundry in the facility.

This Super 8 us far and away the best one we have stayed at. We got a two bedroom suite with a pull out couch and it was perfect for my family. The breakfast was robust and delicious anf the amenities (indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, gym) were top notch. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I booked a 3 night stay through Expedia. I paid for a pool view room but Expedia sent the hotel my reservation for a parking lot view. The reception desk made it right and put us in a pool view room at no extra charge. The hotel has both an indoor pool and outdoor pool. We used both…plus the hot tub and dry sauna. Clean towels are provided at both pools. The main beach was a two minute drive away. Lots of places to eat that you can walk to. It’s directly across from the famous Lord Elgin Fish and Chips restaurant and right next to Boston Pizza and Wendy’s. A full breakfast was included that had eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt and different types of breads. If you forget anything there’s a Walmart and Canadian Tire you can walk to. Beds were comfortable. Friendly and efficient staff.
