The apartment had a strong musty odour upon entry, which persisted throughout the stay and created an unclean, damp atmosphere. There was visible mould in the bathroom, and the smell suggested potential mould in the carpet and furniture as well. The carpet and lounge were stained, and the bedding did not appear fresh. We raised this with management and strongly recommend a deep clean prior to hosting future guests, as mould poses serious health risks.
We were provided with four towels and politely requested two additional towels for our children to use after the pool. This request was met with a dismissive response, stating, “You get four, that’s it,” followed by a patronising comment about using the washing machine provided. Most accommodations are willing to accommodate reasonable requests to enhance guest comfort, but this was not the case. Additionally, the washing machine drawer was broken, and no detergent was provided, making this suggestion impractical given our schedule.
The bedroom’s fan/light system was faulty, Guests are required to carry all rubbish to a remote bin area at the end of the car park.
Perhaps most disappointing was the poor customer service during and after our stay. Our feedback was met with a dismissive and unprofessional tone from the manager and staff. As business owners ourselves, we understand the importance of guest satisfaction and believe these interactions fell well short of acceptable hospitality standards.
