Like all other rooms our room had a balcony and the view overlooking the water was amazing. We could see the ferry coming and going....very interesting. All kinds of boats on the water to watch was very relaxing. Room was very efficient and comfortable...it was obvious the room had been remodeled and it was good. Good heat and AC unit.Nice TV and good selection of channels. Would definitely stay again.!!!!

Location is the best part about this spot. Right on the water so great views, and very walkable. Our bungalow had been updated in recent years, but it was not cleaned that well. Our shower head was more of a sprinkle than a stream, and there were not many amenities. Great place to stay if you just need a comfortable bed for the night.

No service and no smile.
The room was upgraded with one good bed and they left the other bed as hard as a rock. Woke up completely sore and little sleep. Nice room. Front desk person was the absolute most unfriendly and unhelpful person in hospitality I’ve come across. Couldn’t/wouldn’t provide dinner/breakfast recommendations. The word sour puss would be her face if defined in the dictionary. If you’re going to overcharge for a room at least have someone at the front desk who does it with a smile. Older gray haired woman. I know her name but probably not allowed to post it in the PC world.

Great Visit.
Location is great. Hotel very nice. Quite comfortable and clean. The view was wonderful. The sounds of wind, waves and seagulls was very peaceful. The view of deer in the morning was also great. I would definitely stay again.

Comfortable clean room right on the water.
Check in and out was very slow but the staff were pleasant enough. We asked to split the bill and it took a long time for the check in guy to set it up and then the checkout person couldn't figure out how to actually make it work. Our room was close to the road, but the traffic dies down at a reasonable hour and it was not issue. Short walk into town. Overall, very nice, comfortable stay.

My stay at the Tides Inn was absolutely wonderful. The staff was incredible, demonstrating exceptional kindness and attentiveness. I witnessed them go above and beyond to assist the lady in front of me who had a slight situation, showing true dedication to guest satisfaction. For me, the experience was equally impressive. The staff was super kind and accommodating, making me feel truly welcomed. The views from the hotel were spectacular, adding to the overall charm of the place. My room exceeded every expectation, offering both comfort and elegance. I highly, highly recommend the Tides Inn to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. It's a gem of a place that goes the extra mile for its guests.

Properly is direct on the water. The room was newly redone. It had a big outside deck with table and 2 chairs. The deck needs a little tlc. Otherwise a stunning property. Would absolutely recomend to anybody.
