This property has a lot of potential! The staff are not the most friendly, they either look fed up or they have no knowledge on what you ask them. No customer service at all. The place the rooms and the furniture looked tired. They really need a golf cart or some kind of vehicle to take you around as it is hilly and a hell of a lot of walking in humid hot heat.

Iririki sits in a working port and many of the fares/bures/rooms sit directly across from a shipyard and the waterfront grounds which can make for some really noisy nights like music till 2:30am especially when a show is on, anyone paying this much money doesn’t want to be kept up this late, maybe tourism Vanuatu and the resort could have a chat! There were many guests in the same boat as us, with some late sleepless nights. The resort has a bit to go to get to 4 or 5 stars especially with the money your spending is currently 4 stars, just from general detail of fittings in rooms, bathrooms, bed comfort Buffet breakfast was nice everyday, with a good mix of choices available. Availability to kayaks and paddle boards good, snorkelling was easy but then end of the jetty easily tips people off, some sort of improved floating jetty (not the 4 x 44 gallon drums tied together just like my home dam!) would be great for the less stable of guests to ease into and out of the water, flippers need an upgrade as guests walk in them ruining them, although good for a chuckle)! The buffet dinner with either Melanesian dance or fire dance wasn’t all its cracked up to be and at ~$65 AUD was pretty steep for a buffet. The boat/ferry landing team were lovely and conscientious to help everyone. On the whole the stay was relaxing, easy and safe to get around Port Vila, Jim and front concierge staff were very helpful.

Great location, pity about the WiFi, TV & Billing
The resort itself is great and majority of staff are friendly and welcoming. As return guests we were hoping to experience improvements in only a few areas, sadly this was not the case. Island-wide, unreliable and broken WiFi and TV, absolute chaos and confusion with the billing. Many of our fellow guests racked up huge mobile Internet bills as a result. Also, the lack of itemised billing can result in errors on checkout. Strongly suggest taking photos of each and every bill so they can be reconciled at checkout.

I had a deluxe ocean view spa room - it was huge and the best view of the room options here. The resort is probably the best situated in Port Vila - a 5 minute boat ride and you're in the middle of PV. Very quiet, staff are so pleasant and it rubs off on the guests as everybody says hello. The only negative are the dodgy jetty connections to the boat, just a little jump. Would definitely stay here if I stayed in PV again. A big shout out to all the staff during my stay.

Wonderful getaway in a beautiful location with many options for activities on the island. We came as a couple. Things that may deter people is the noise from the nightclub (club lit?) across the water, aim for a room away from reception. It woke us both up on a couple of nights and I am a heavy sleeper. This island has hills and stairs, lots of stairs so if you are unable to navigate this might be an issue. There is a restaurant on one side of the island and can be a long walk if your accommodation is on the other side, especially with kids. The staff are absolutely fantastic. The ferry across to the mainland whenever you need it is great. We would visit again with knowing now where best accommodation is for a quiet spot.

Due to Air Vanuatu going into liquidation I was unable to get on a flight to the resort. Expedia and myself were trying to ring them well over a month trying to get a refund and we both were ignored! Sent emails that were also ignored until recently when I rang everyday constantly. Service on the phone was poor and negligent and they never rang me back like they would say and now they are refusing to give my money back even though I was trying to initiate the refund well in the time I was eligible. I would not recommend booking with this resort until they fix their service to customers. You will be ignored, redirected, neglected and treated poorly by their customer service team.

Had the best time at Iririki for our honeymoon. It was absolutely perfect. Our room overlooked the water and it was cool, breezy, quiet. The staff at Iririki are phenomenal - really kind, everyone says hello and goes out of their way to make your time enjoyable. The food and drinks are awesome, the pools are clean and clear and refreshing. The ferry service is always running and you never have to wait more than a few minutes to catch it to Port Vila. Would definitely come here again and recommend this place to other people. Thank you Iririki resort!

Dont ever book with expedia. They booked air vanuatu flights that weren't even running, booked accommodation in nadi that i never seen. Very disappointing service trying to reorganise flights and accommodation. Thanks to expedia it was the worst holiday of my life which was supposed to be a happy engagement. Very very stressful, with no option of any refund or compensation for putting us through hell

We stayed at the Iririki Resort for nine days, and ultimately left us with very mixed feelings. Overall, the resort is okay. The ‘Island Fare’ rooms have everything you need, there are pools, two bars, and a restaurant. Individually, the staff are friendly, and keen to engage. But, and it is a big but on final reflection, the property falls down on many of it’s promises. The website and brochures show glossy pictures of white sunlit beaches, gloriously blue pools, and promise plenty of amenities - from catamarans to kayaks to adequate seating at the pools. And this is where it comes apart. Those things either don’t exist, or are so tired as to be unusable, or ‘are coming but held up in a container. There is always an excuse. During our stay we had the TV and fridge in the room replaced because neither worked; couldn’t fix the leaking toilet because that was a bridge to far; had to fight to get a seat any day we wanted to sit at the pools; found our room left open and unattended…the list goes on. Notifications to management were met with sympathy but no action. In our last day, with Air Vanuatu having changed our flight 13 hours later, our request for a couple of hours later checkout (despite the room not being follow-on booked that day) was firmly ignored - the sympathetic desk staff being unable to get any answer from management. Overall, you get what you pay for - and if you eat/drink in the resort, pay you will - but be prepared for it not to live up to the hype.

Beautiful place but if you looked around there was rubbish in places that you thought wow looks like it has been there for a while and visible. Poorly maintained tv that was almost impossible to work with no instructions. Payed a lot more to upgrade to an apartment with a spa bath that didn’t work and when you let the water out you could hear it coming out straight into the bushes outside. Real shame as it would end up in there crystal clear water right there. Some of the staff were absolutely useless

The buggy service around the Island is pretty ordinary . Granted that they have to pick up and drop off guests all the time but there should be some priority given to some cases . eg: Like waiting to go to the airport with baggage. We waited for 45mins before we decided to walk up to the reception . we booked it for 12pm ( Dep at 1520hrs ) and at 1245 we decided to walk . This is not the fault of the operators ( drivers ) but management must give priority to departing Guests. More Island activities are needed to enhance the Experience. Maybe Jetskis .. More water activities , Also the Guest Experience staff ( who were great) should all be on the same page when selling activities ... sometimes we got 3 different versions of the same activities with no definitive proposals or offer . We give them credit as they tried their best to offer the deals . Overall we were very happy with the staff ( brilliant ) . Its a beautiful Island resort with So Much potential to grow your business. Suggest some input from the locals and survey guests on the spot instead of Online reviews ( most will not do it ) . Thank you for a great time.

Property needs a refurb however new owners appear to be starting to address this. Hopefully local artworks & craft will replace the really outdated pictures in fales & the areas around sunset pools receive the maintenance required. We had a lovely relaxing stay. Easy & quick to visit town by boat from the island. We would not hesitate to return.

We enjoyed our holiday to Iririki Island Resort although the facilities were not as promised. Service is very slow. No golf buggy’s are working so you have to walk to your room with luggage in tow, and it can be a solid 10min walk if you’re on the other side of the island. Not enough lounge chairs near the pool either for the amount of people on site. It is a very run down resort and I definitely wouldn’t say it’s a 4 star property. Shower was leaking which drenched the whole bathroom each time you turned it on. Balcony door was also broken so you couldn’t lock it properly. Not a great variety to eat at the restaurants either especially for lunch options.
