A simple and clean motel room! It has been updated semi-recently and, although it isn't fancy, it is a great value for the price. The location is perfect because you are near downtown but it is quiet. The staff was super friendly and easy to deal with.

The room was a little beat up, but the bed was cozy and had mattress protectors. Clean for the most part. There were some dirty spots on the headboard and the shower head was a bit rough. Noisy area, but well lit so we felt safe. Staff was great! Convenient location. Would stay here again.

Stayed at the suites for 6 days in Oct 2024. Our room keys had to be replaced due to accidental deactivation almost every day of the trip, and one manager yelled at a member of our party and nearly refused to replace the card. The iron in my room was broken, the shower flooded the bathroom floor and the towel rack was bashed in as if someone had hit it with a sledgehammer. There is certainly a lack of attention to detail in this space but it was functional for a bare bones cheap-ish trip to PDX.

No-frills, but awesome!
I have been staying here for almost 15 years. The property has been remodeled, so it is nicer than before, but make no mistake, this is a no-frills place that is affordable and in an amazing location. The staff is always so great. I highly recommend Eastside Lodge!
