Bed bugs! DO NOT STAY HERE! Booked for Friday-Sunday for a family of 5. Woke up with bed bugs crawling around my family and younger daughters. Collected six or seven live bugs to take to front desk for proof. Took pictures and videos. Wife woke up with 28 bites around her stomach, back, feet, arms and hands. Son also had bites on his back. Went to the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do and I should make a Claim with expedia since I didnt book with them. Front desk didn't offer to change my room or refund my money. Family refused to spend another night. Front desk handed me a card for the manager I could contact. Girl at the desk said “Ive never even seen a bed bug or knew what they were” I left her the cup with the bed bugs, staff needs to be trained properly. We left and drove home Saturday Morning cutting our weekends short. Expedia had me contact hotel and after 4 days of going back and forth I was refunded. Hotel was refusing to refund because I hadn't payed for insurance. I will never stay at any La Quinta property's ever again or recommend them. Has the worse experience. Family is traumatized of staying at another hotel any time soon.

My stay at La Quinta Portland Airport was less than horrible. After checking in I proceeded to my room. It took 3 trips back to the front desk and assistance from management to enter my room. The card reader on the door lock would not read the cards. Once in the room I was afraid to leave as I may not be able to re-enter the room. Management acknowledged issues with the door locks and stated they were scheduled for replacement sometime in the future. Once in the room I found it clean. It was also tiny and cramped. There was only one dinette style chair to relax in and it was anything but comfortable. After going out for the day I returned to find that I had received NO room service. No restock of coffee or toiletries, no removal of trash and no cleaning or clean towels. The next morning I went to enjoy the free breakfast and found a choose of biscuits and gravy or biscuits and gravy. There was also coffee, dry cereal, and waffle makers but I did not see any batter for them. Overall it was a disappointment. After going out the second day I found my had not been serviced again. No fresh bathroom linen, no restock of toiletries and no more coffee. I found I could get 3 cups out of one K-cup. Not a good experience. On day of departure I had left a 1AM wake up cal that never came. At the desk they blamed the computer system. The bright spot was a very friendly shuttle trip to the airport. Driver was entreating and a good driver. Now the most problematic experie

There was a weird saw like noise through out the night. The neighbors were extremely noisy. The shower water did not heat up for 20 mins. Staff was slow and unwelcome.
