Most attentive host - José kind and caring
Location is everything here, close enough to all you want to see and do, yet far enough to get the local experience. We are regular VRBO users and also are hosts for our property in the US. Jose contacted us, met us at the unit and the. Asked to take us for a 30 min orientation of the neighbourhood so we knew where everything was. Lots of great information and we went from being in a forest to a welcoming park in the 30 min. Coffee and pasteis de nata. We would definitely recommend this unit which will sleep 3 comfortably. Bravo José.

Great owner, location and stay!
Jose was fantastic. Gave us tips and ideas for our stay and made the arrival as easy as possible. Communication was perfect and answered any question we had before our arrival. The room was charming and clean. The two bathrooms upstairs were fantastic when getting ready to go out. Had everything we needed and the bed was extremely comfortable. So many great places to eat nearby. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see and it was quiet at night. Perfect room for a couple and would definitely stay here again.

A taste of Old World Porto
José was so generous! He met us and showed us around the neighborhood, bought us expressos and pastries, and shared a bit of the beautiful historic place that has been in his family for a long time. We felt the heart of Porto there at José's charming and artful spot!

What a gem! Highly recommended
This apartment was beyond our expectations. With its old word (300 yr old) interior walls and floors to its tasteful furnishings yet boasting all modern conveniences. We were very comfortable. It is very quiet and safe area with lots of restaurants within short walking distance. We tend to take Uber and were pleased to find that nowhere in the city was more than 5 euros (including 1 euro tip) Our host as extremely cordial and helpful. Thank you for the opportunity. We highly recommend this home away from home

Fabulous apartment
We were very impressed from the moment we arrived. The host was so welcoming and told us everything about the neighborhood. Where to eat, shop and the highlights of Porto. The apartment is so comfortable. The bed was very good and we both slept well. Everything we needed was supplied. It is so centrally located that we could walk to everywhere. Was so close to everything and the host was incredible- def went above and beyond to ensure we knew where we were and had to go! The apartment is beautiful and well kept. My onlyyyyyy thought is that the bed was very hard- we both did not sleep well. But the pros very much outweigh the cons- def worth staying!

Wonderful stay at Jose's 300 year old family home!
Thank you Jose for being such a wonderful host! You went out of your way to secure a parking spot for us. As well, you took the time to show us the highlights of your beautiful city. Porto is a wonderful place to explore and there are so many sights within walking distance of this property. It has everything you need and the neighbourhood is quiet for sleeping. Bear in mind that the apartment is 300 years old and built into rock. There is a bit of a musty smell that may be a problem for some.

The apartment was just right for the two of us. At a very reasonable price and situated close enough to walk to the myriad of offerings that are accessible in this wonderful city. José, our owner, went out of his way to make us welcome. We cannot speak more highly of our reception. Dream vacation in Porto!
Our trip to Porto was great! Our host, Jose, was the main reason for our experience! He met us at the property (an updated apartment in a 300 year old home), and proceeded to take UA on a tour of the surroundings, showing us restaurants, shops and sights we might be interested in. Jose is a true ambassador for his city of Porto! He made it so easy for us to navigate the city and made it very easy to use our time efficiently since we only had 3 days in the city. The apartment was a welcome place to come home to ta the end of the day. Jose has thought of everything that you would need. Definitely plan on returning some day. Would definitely recommend. Jose went out of his way for us. He picked us up early to drive us to the bus station and on the way took us for a tour of Palacio do Fleixo, a gorgeous palace on the Douro River. Can’t say enough good things about both Jose and his apartment!

Great place that has a nice authentic touch!
Really enjoyed the place. It was close to alot of the highlights, without being in it (so a lot less noise!). The owners were really nice with us and the even gave us tips of things to do and place to go visit/eat.
