Perfect Stay
What a wonderful place to stay!! Central to everything. The breakfast was Amazing. The care given to each guest was personal and very kind, with many tips and helpful suggestions. Mariana went above & beyond daily!! It was a pleasure to stay!! Also there is a small treasure of a private garden with a very happy lemon tree!! The rooms are very comfortable with good light. Sao Bento train station across the street & Porto Church ( I believe ) is next door, so you can hear the bells ring!! Thank u for the best experience!! I promise to return !!!

Don’t stay anywhere else! Na Travessa has clean, comfortable, modern rooms. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the location is ideal for the major sights. The breakfast room and the food they serve is great.

The staff was fantastic and were very communicative, helpful and responsive. Central location with walkable access to a variety of key sights. It is on top of a small hill so you need to be able to handle walking hills (with a cobblestone base) to get to it.

Our host, Mariana, was very welcoming, friendly and attentive and provided information on things to do in the area, even weather updates. Her staff were also lovely and helpful. The hotel itself is ideally situated for getting transport and is within easy walking distance of the river and the historic buildings. Breakfast was beautifully presented in lovely surroundings with great attention to detail. On departure Mariana had even packaged some cake to take with us! We would happily recommend this hotel.

We had the most wonderful stay! Mariana is a lovely host; she is so sweet to remember little details like what you like for breakfast each day. (The breakfast is amazing, by the way!) She also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The little boutique hotel is so close to the historic district, easy to walk there, down to the Ribiera, so many cute restaurants and patios and alleys to explore! Mariana the hostess was so communicative and sweet and kind. She messaged me prior to check in to see when I would be arriving and to give me directions and instructions which were helpful. She made the stay feel like home. The hotel was so quaint and cozy and minimalistic. The room was a little small but perfect for me. No elevator, but again, not a problem for me. Walls are a little thin but everyone there was respectful. I had a cute little balcony overlooking the courtyard. Breakfast was included and it was so delicious. Mariana goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. The location was super close to sao bento station (4 min walk) and very central. I stayed for one night and loved every moment there.

Mariana and her husband renovated this property and did a PHENOMENAL job - I couldn't belive my eyes when I walked into this hotel. Modern, sleek, romantic and absolutely INSTAGRAM WORTHY! I adored the high ceilings, warm furnishings, and cozy atmosphere. The staff and Mariana herself were the kindest, most helpful people. You cannot beat the value when you consider the scrumptious breakfast spread they lay out at your table in the mornings - no buffet here! Meats, cheeses, jams, yogurts, bread baskets, croissants, and egg tarts accompany the best scrambled eggs I've had. The beds are soooo comfortable and the bathrooms are modern and incredibly clean. The garden area is tranquil and feels like you are the only vacationer in Porto. My sincerest endorsement of this unique, delightful experience and to Mariana's exceptional hospitality!

I liked that this place is not a hotel and has a limited number of rooms. The hostess is the most wonderful person. She wants you to enjoy your stay and will help you anyway she can, within reason, because you should remember this is not a hotel. We will definitely be staying there again!!!

Na Travessa is a gem! Very centrally located and beautifully designed and appointed. Clean and chic with everything one might want. Gorgeous rooms and fully modern bathroom. Lovely common spaces and delicious breakfasts. Best of all is the proprietesse Mariana who is so very friendly, helpful and organized. We would definitely recommend to anyone and happily stay here again.

We had a wonderful time here. Mariana is extremely helpful and welcoming. She helped us with restaurant suggestions and where to find a nice fado show during our stay. Breakfast includes tasty fresh eggs, breads, yogurts, cheeses etc and some of the beat fresh orange juice we’ve ever had. Good location close to sao bento station.

What a wonderful place to stay. Classy and clean. Mariana and her team are amazing - kind and so very hospitable. The breakfasts are delicious and the location is perfect (very close to the cathedral). We couldn't have asked for more perfect hosts. I highly recommend Na Travessa Suites.

This is an incredible, very high quality mini-hotel. It is a short one minute walk from the Metro and very close to the major sites. The hills of Porto are overstated, but it’s not flat. The rooms reflect considerable fashion and craftsmanship. The staff is among the best I have found anywhere. Healthy, tasty breakfasts! “I’ll be back!”

We loved our stay at Na Travessa Suites! The attention to detail is apparent in almost every aspect of how this guesthouse was designed and built. From the charming, comfortable rooms to chic lobby area to the accent lighting in the stairwells. The owner has a passion for providing the best quality you can find in Porto, which is demonstrated not only in the space itself but also in the lovely breakfast she served us in the morning (which included delicious handmade bread!). When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner and she highlighted a lot of her favorites places to visit in Porto on a map that she gave us. The location was great as it is close to a lot of great shops and restaurants, and is only a short walk to the famous Luis I Bridge. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for an affordable yet stylish place to stay in Porto. We hope to return and visit Na Travessa Suites again in the future!
