My partner and I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel! The hotel is conveniently located only a few steps from the busy R. de Santa Caterina where there is a lot of tourists walking and shopping. Even though the hotel was very close to all of that, it was still quiet. We had to buzz in for check in and for our stay, our room key had to be used to unlock the main door, which made us feel very safe. Be warned there are no elevators! There is a flight of stairs when you first enter before you reach the front desk. There was a kind gentleman with glasses (sorry I didn't get his name) who checked us in and out for our stay and helped us carry our baggage up and down the stairs. Our room was right on the same floor as the front desk and the main stairway, but we did not have any issue with noise. They offer a light breakfast selection that you can choose what you would like and what time to have the cart delivered to your room. You can also change the breakfast selection each day if you choose by completing another breakfast form before 9pm that day for the next day. Our room was street view and had a cute table area in front of the window for us to enjoy breakfast in the mornings while people watching. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel even leaves out cake on the second floor and there's also a coffee machine that can be used anytime. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

This is a fabulous former single family home renovated into a boutique hotel. It was a warm, welcoming and comfortable place with elegant (if small) rooms. A love,y building. The staff , reception clerk and manager were attentive and helpful. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

This accommodation really does FLH. Location is brilliant! So easy to walk anywhere. Staff were lovely and helpful, especially Beatrice. Room was perfect, breakfast in the room was a bonus. Beautiful old building, tastefully renovated. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Such an amazing stay here! Staff were courteous and so helpful. Rooms were nice and so clean. Nice touch to have breakfast served in our room. We were within walking distance of everything. Very old building so no elevators which was fine for us but could be a challenge for others. Definitely recommend them!

The hotel was perfect. Its location is in the heart of shopping and walking distance of everything! Unfortunately, there isn’t a lift to the rooms so be prepared to walk up a few flights of stairs. We found the receptionist/host, Carla, to be very proud of Porto, where she was born and raised, and she was more than happy to share all the must-see sights in the city as well as warn us of the restaurants to avoid since they charge tourists more than the locals. The breakfast and afternoon treats were wonderful! We would, and will, highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful property in a great location! We were able to walk to everything. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious, with a large variety of items to choose. There was an abundant supply of coffee and tea on each floor and even cake and snacks in the afternoons. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the building felt safe and well maintained.

Property is in an excellent location. It is within walking distance to all downtown tourist locations. You can walk the Majestic Cafe is less than half block. The train station is a block or two away, most nice restaurants are within a five block ratio the sightseeing buses are around the corner etc. The staff is wonderful I cannot say enough about the staff. I learned real quick why the say in Porto everything is up and down very Steep Streets. I would recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes must be non slip shoes. You also have to be in good shape because this is a walking town with very steep streets.

Excellent location, easy walking distance to many places of interest. Based on the main shopping street. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent, nice being able to have it served in your room. Coffee and biscuits/cake being available in the afternoons was also a nice touch. Hotel was clean and felt safe. The front desk were very sweet in accommodating us even when we came in early, they held our bags for us while we walked around. Breakfast was nice! Bathrooms and bedroom were clean and smelled great. The balcony was a nice touch to our stay. Even when checking out they accommodated us due to our flight being late, and they held our bags for us from 11am to 6:30pm. Truly life savers!!! We’d recommend, the only downside was no elevators but it was a great cardio for us. 10/10 recommend we’d come back!

Clean room and very helpful staff. Very convenient to restaurants and bars (Pink Street.). Since public transportation was a bit confusing, we relied on Uber and taxis for popular destinations.
