Super friendly and helpful staff. A one block walk to the pools, dining etc made it very convenient. The included breakfast at the rooftop restaurant nearby was exactly the way to start your day!

The room was very nice and clean and the kitchenette was a great feature. Beautiful location with everything in walking distance. The included breakfast was really good and fresh. The rooftop was quiet and a nice spot to relax.

Sounded good in theory, but I won't be coming back
Clean place, run by nice people, but overall more like 3,5 than 4 stars. The jacuzzi on the roof is lovely, but the pool facilities in the other hotel that guests have access are small and not very clean. The cooking facilities were very helpful, especially as restaurants in Porto Moniz are of poor quality, but beware of ants in the apartment - all food needs to be locked away carefully. The breakfast in the hotel next door is good and pretty varied (including custom cooked pancakes or omelettes), overlooking the ocean - my favourite part of the stay. This is not the hotel's fault, but a note to future visitors: do not come to Porto Moniz without a car, as public transport is non-existent and there are limited things to do from here (you also can't get Bolt, just regular, more expensive taxis). As the weather wasn't good enough for swimming and it turned out most of the local hiking paths were closed due to a recent wild fire, we decided to cut short our trip and return to Funchal half way through. The regular person at reception was great, but when we were leaving someone else was covering & must not have processed our check out properly, as three days later I was being called up by the hotel, asking me where I was and demanding payment for mini bar items, which we had settled when we left...

Great stay in Porto Moniz
Very nice stay in Porto Moniz! The studios were clean and confortable. The staff was really nice and very helpful. We used the pool and the restaurant from the other two aqua natura properties which were conveniently within walking distance.

Parfait du début à la fin. Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique. Ils offrent des attentions à leurs clients. La chambre était extrêmement propre et équipée. Le SEUL petit point est l'odeur qui vient du drain de la douche mais on a fait quelques hôtels sur l'île et ils avaient le même problème.

The only downside to this hotel was that there's no airconditioning. The room was far too hot and the fan was far too loud. I don't think that's 4* worthy. The rest was very good! Very nice room, clean, good location!

Très belle expérience dans cet hôtel pris à la dernière minute pour palier à un changement de vol. Nous regrettons presque de ne pas l’avoir trouvé avant pour y passer plus d’une nuit. Très confortable, moderne, à proximité du centre et des piscines naturelles dont l’accès est gratuit grace a l’hôtel. Une carte postale et un petit pot de confiture offert lors du check out, tout était parfait jusqu’à la dernière minute!
