Nice stay
Nice hotel with lovely pool area and views over the harbour. The walk in to town is not very pleasant and so you need a car to access town and surrounding areas so consider this in your planning. We only had the breakfast in the hotel which was excellent. We also did the hotel organised boat trip on Dolce Vita which was outstanding and I highly recommend. Overall the hotel is a bit run down in the common areas etc but the pool area is lovely.

The rooms were beautiful and clean. The staff was attentive and very pleasant. The food variety of the included breakfast every morning was impressive and a great way to start the day. Also the location of the resort was perfect for reaching the town and ferry easily, but far enough away to be quiet and secluded.

The staff were very friendly and helpful - especially Donato, Francesco, Selena and Guiglia Excellent location in La Maddalena. Good facilities - though dining room was unavailable as early season - There was a Pizzeria on site though which was excellent. Local town had ample high quality restaurants - we would recommend L'Avventura.

Overwhelmingly excellent. Great hotel, staff friendly and professional, great breakfast, and restaurant. Pool great. Free parking. 5 mins from town. Only constructive feedback (which was only very a minor annoyance) was that the gym opening hours were bizarre (9-13, 15-21). Given that breakfast was 7-10:30 this essentially means that we couldn’t workout pre-breakfast which was for us the only time we could do it.

Lovely suite and spa
Beautiful hotel, we had an upgrade and enjoyed the suite. The spa was also wonderful.

the hotel was excellent on all levels - the pool, the spa, the rooms, the food and drink - but most importantly the staff - some of the friendliest we've ever encountered on our hols!

Nice hotel but a bit remote
Not a bad hotel but in my opinion it was overpriced. My wife and I stayed here at the end of June and although we had a nice time, we weren't overly impressed with the hotel. The staff were ok but not very friendly. The room itself was clean and comfortable although a bit on the small side.

A bit pretentious and over priced
When I booked it was to include breakfast when we arrived we were told no breakfast, so anger set in I would never have booked it. The hotel is clean and tidy but definitely not a 5* more like 4* A very pretentious hotel trying to hard, there is no atmosphere or soul in the place. The staff are very polite. Went to breakfast a couple of times at 18 euros a time but if you wanted poached or omelette or fried eggs it would cost extra money which is a disgrace and outrageous. No coffee or tea facilities in room apparently health and safety I have never heard such dribble. The beds were quite hard hurt my back don't think I had one good night. It was a very expensive hotel way overpriced for what is was. However the pool area was nice. The hotel was in a good location a 20 minute walk to town if you missed the shuttle bus, mind you the driver was always miserable. The beaches were ok not golden sandy though Overall it was a very expensive hotel to stay in, rooms were clean and well kept.

The hotel is great, excellent location. However, we didn't have a good experience for the breakfast, the personnel was not polite when we asked for espresso coffee (they just served american coffee -dirty water-, we had to beg for an espresso and this is Italy!!!). Also the quality and variety of the breakfast was not according to the level of the hotel. In addition, when we were leaving the breakfast room, the manager didn't allow us to cross the room saying the door was already closed (not in a very polite way), so we needed to find our way around the garden and when we finally passed by the door we realized it was in fact open!!. Summarizing, overall good experience but breakfast and breakfast personnel should improve.

Great hotel with very friendly staff! Spa facilities and both indoor and outdoor swimming pools in great condition. Very helpful concierge who helped us book a private sail boat to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. Our hired car broke down while at the beach and due to language differences we struggled to get our car hire company or breakdown company to help us so we turned to the hotel to assist and they were more than helpful in making the necessary calls and getting us the help we needed swiftly.

Nice but slightly pretentious
Hotel was nice, staff friendly and rooms clean. My only criticism is that the hotel was a bit too pretentious. I've stayed at many 5* hotels, but this seemed to try too hard to be one. Restaurant menu, along with room service menu was limited. Staff at reception and concierge were friendly, helpful and gave excellent recommendations. Overall a pleasant stay
