Beautiful Big Bamboo
Livia is a wonderful innkeeper and Big Bamboo is beautiful. I loved the beautiful landscape and our adorable little house, the delicious Brazilian breakfast spread every morning by the pool, and (even though I did not see mosquitoes in our room) sleeping under the big mosquito net canopy. I definitely appreciated the A/C when it got hot in the room, as well as the black-out shades in the bedroom. I would have loved to had time to try Livia's homemade Italian cooking and to enjoy the pousada more, but we were there for a wedding and short on time. Livia was very helpful with directions and tips for car rentals, shopping, taxis, etc. Highly recommend!

Nice hotel near Quadrado, friendly helpful owners
Private Pousada with spacious pool area just walking distance to the Quadrado in the middle of Trancoso. Very helpful owners who went out of their way to help us arrange several taxi rides when needed to visit beaches. Nice pool and lounge area, rooms were good size and comfortable. Breakfast was provided and offered a good selection of items. Thank you again Andrea and Olivia, it was a great stay for all of us.

POusada de facil localização, proxima ao quadrado onde se encontram as melhores diversoes. a pousada é extremamente bem cuidada pela proprietaria e por seus funcionarios que são atenciosos e solícitos. a piscina é otima, cafe da manha espetacular a beira da piscina e os quartos sao confortaveis com varanda. o ponto alto da pousada é o cafe da manha com grande variedade de pães, bolos, sucos, ate queijadinha, brigadeiro, bolos diarios...enfim , amamos e voltaremos.

Hotel bom, quarto espaçoso, mas com cheiro de modo que me causou uma alergia. Café da manhã muito gostoso e a Lívia, dona da pousada, é muito simpática e solícita. Relativamente próxima ao Quadrado, 10 minutos de caminhada, contudo as ruas não são calçadas e a noite é escuro e meio deserto.

Apesar de ficar numa rua escondida, a pousada fica perto do Quadrado (cerca de 6 minutos a pé). Os proprietários são ótimos, muito atenciosos. Certamente voltarei outras vezes.

"Perfetto". Simplesmente excelente.
Hospedamos minha esposa e eu por 4 diárias. Nossa experiência na pousada não poderia ter sido melhor, a começar pela acolhida e receptividade do dono e que se tornou nosso amigo, Andrea, um italiano que se adaptou muito bem aos ares da Bahia. Grande pessoa, de coração acolhedor, atencioso, que se preocupa a todo momento se tudo está como a gente espera. Toda manhã se propõe a cozinhar uma tapioca de marguerita, ou ovos mexidos ou oferecer um magnífico café napolitano que ele mesmo prepara, isso sem contar com toda opção de delícias do café já servida na mesa. Tudo muito gostoso e muito bem preparado e servido. Os chalés são um outro ponto de destaque da pousada, com varanda com rede, banheiro muito limpo, cama com mosquiteiro, ar-condicionado, frigobar, super aconchegante e confortável. Quarto sempre limpo e roupas de cama e toalhas frequentemente trocadas. A área comum onde é servido o café da manhã é o lugar que nos reunimos com os outros hóspedes para conversar. Todos se tornam amigos ali. Muito bacana o clima que a pousada oferece. Tem também piscina e churrasqueira e são oferecidos drinks e coquetéis preparados ali mesmo. A pousada é muito próxima ao Quadrado, uma das principais atrações de Trancoso. Valeu muito a pena conhecer Trancoso e a experiência de ficar na Pousada Big Bamboo serviu para deixar tudo inesquecível.

Foram apenas três dias, porém plenos, em Trancoso e arredores. A pousada corresponde ao que é anunciado, maximizando preço e qualidade. O gerente é atencioso e orienta sobre o lugar, passeios e restaurantes. Além de uma boa conversa sobre coisas da Itália. Excelente café da manhã, com um inesperado café Napolitano: Bravo! O lugar (Trancoso) em si é naturalmente belo e o vilarejo, exótico, colorido. Porém as pessoas estão tentando estragar tudo isso. Há cavalos e gente se achando nas praias e arredores, old fashion.
