All of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Facility and rooms were clean, although could use some updating. Location close and convenient to beach and boardwalk. Valet parking was easy, quick, and well worth it!

This property is in a great location across from the beach and just a few steps from shops and restaurants. It has a variety of rooms and is pet friendly. Like many old beach properties it could do with an upgrade. Overall, if you love the beach, it’s worth the price.

I was told this was THE place to stay. So, I didn’t mind paying extra… but… we were sadly disappointed! The room was smaller than anything pictured in my confirmation, no telephone in the rooms, (not sure how I was supposed to order any type of room service!) no booklet listing places to visit or dine at, no toiletries, and anything you forgot was not provided. They were $1/ea in the lobby. Money NOT well spent. 😞

We paid for our room in full before going and when we got there we were charged an additional fee of $140.00 a room. We booked two rooms so 280.00 was charged to my card. They charge $25.00 a day for parking in their parking garage. We had two cars so that was $150.00 . We had to pay for coffee, that they kept in their lobby, and we never even drank. We had to pay for umbrellas and chairs for the beach, that we didn’t even use. We had to pay for the gym, which we never used. you pay for all their amenities even if you do not use them. they have a beautiful balcony with a small restaurant and a bar, you can sit out there, but you can’t drink a cup of coffee. You’re not allowed any drinks out there, because they have a bar so you need to order from their bar. How is that a relaxing vacation? There was a room off to the side that was completely empty, but had a couple tables in there. we went in to play a card game and one of the employees told us we couldn’t be in there because it’s a bar and you have to order from the bar so we couldn’t have our coffee in there either, he was very rude!! We had a great time at Hampton Beach, but we definitely will never stay at Ashworth again.

We paid for one night, 558,00$ CD for the room. Plus 46,00 US for hotel fees and parking. Very expensive for the very small room, 30m2. It was not very clean and not too much in good condition. we didn't have a balcony. We were directly on the beach, near.

I absolutely loved the location of this place. Walking distance of beach and strip. I mean 2-3 min walks. The staff were very friendly and kind. There are some things I was disappointed in. I really thought the bathroom could use some bleach or cleaner. Mold was around the handles, along the caulking and on the ceiling. There is no shower vent. Sink didn't look clean at all. The little deck had a great view. The chairs were black and dirty. The protective glass doesn't look like it's been cleaned. smeared with finger prints. That made the view hard to enjoy. Very limited linen supply. Bring your own. The bedding smelled and looked clean which was a huge plus. The one elevator which is very small, takes a long time to go floor to floor. There are three levels. Check in time was crazy as the lobby is small and everyone is waiting for the elevator. Definitely need to upgrade and add another. I will say besides the bathroom the room was clean. I do think it was overpriced for what it was.
