Disliked: Cleanliness
A cozy stay with room to improve.
My recent VRBO stay had its ups and downs. On the positive side, the beds were comfy, the showers were great, and the location near a charming village was a big plus with a longer drive to amenities in the south. Communication with the owner and host was excellent.
However, the cleanliness needed more attention to detail, and the absence of air conditioning and limited airflow was uncomfortable during warmer weather though there were provided fans. The lack of a coffee pot, which was broken, and a non-working left side of the oven were inconveniences.
Basic toiletries were missing, which was unexpected. On a positive note, the laundry facilities were ample, but the instructions on how to arrive at the property could have been provided ahead of the stay. We did meet a wonderful neighbor when we walked into her house with our bags on the first day when arriving at the provided pin.
In summary, this property has potential, but it could benefit from better cleaning, adding a coffee pot, fixing the oven, providing toiletries, and improving ventilation. The comfortable beds, great showers, responsive host, and proximity to a charming village make it worth considering, especially with these suggested enhancements.
