less than 1 star hotel - filthy hotel worst ever
This is one of the dirtiest nasty filth of a hotel - i arrived and smelled the odor of urine in the hallways, but i had already paid the booking. Bed is so soft that you sink into it. The smells of dog urine and old sheets is overbearing. I wish i would have gone elsewhere even if i lost the money.. i feel sick from my stay at "Klara"

Definitely one of the best hotel I've ever been. The room was very clean, nice breakfasts and such an excellent customer service. Just the pillow a bit uncomfortable but I would definitely book this hotel again

The moment we reached the hotel, there was an Irish couple who came and complained to the receptionist that there are other people in their room. They had gone on a day trip and hotel gave off there room to others even though they had prepaid for few days. We knew we are in for something we didn't expect nor wanted on our vacation. But we had also prepaid so we took our keys and we were given another key for the main door and were told reception shuts down at 7 PM and then you are on your own! The room was ok but the sliding windows were too close to the bed to walk straight. Beds were cot beds and you have to take stairs to reach the elevator on every level. So we had to take stairs from the reception to the elevator and then again from the elevator to our room with all heavy luggage by our selves. If you need anything in afternoon or at night, there is no staff. Reception, kitchen everything gets locked. You are on your own. After 3 days, when we checked out, the receptionist took the keys and said goodbye. We called for our cab as had further journey and after we waited for 10 minutes for our cab, she came back and said you have to pay! The trip was prepaid and we had an expedia confirmed mail that it is paid to the hotel. They did not agree & didn't let us leave. A mail employee literally stopped us from leaving the premises. As we were really short on time and didn't want a fight there, I gave them my credit card and let them charge which I will now dispute with expedia.

Cheap and Cheerful
An absolutely great hotel when considering value for money. Everything is VERY basic, but the tram is a two minute walk away and at €46 per night for a small double room it’s as cheap as the youth hostel. Friendly staff and good location with some cheap restaurants just around the corner!

Great discount advertised on site. Pictures look nice. Room in attic (5th floor) elevator went to 4th floor. Room OK for price, but no bargain and not what I was expecting.

Disgraceful.
We very carefully chose this hotel as we needed one room for 4 people and a dog with breakfast and easy parking. The hotel contacted us 2 days before stay to ask time of arrival which we said would not be before 10.00 pm. We arrived at 1030 having been driving for 7 hours. After 10 minutes of ringing the bell outside the receptionist arrived And said "bad news the room was double booked". He said an apartment had been booked For us across town. He gave us the difference between the two rates. An hour after arriving at the first hotel we arrived at the second. When they saw the dog they said dogs not allowed. After a long conversation the manager kindly agreed to let us stay. We will review this wonderful place - Church Pension Prague - separately. This was a stressful and shocking experience.

Stay was okay, the hotel is older and rooms reflected this. The insisted I pay in cash and claimed they don't accept credit cards, quite unheard of.

Not 3 stars services
Bathroom not too clean, was no cleaned at all during our 4 days stay which is not a 3 star service! Water pressure very low at shower, you were supposed to keep shower in one hand as there was no place to hang it, no trash removal or towel change, no reception available 24 Hrs, you are supposed to give exact arrival hr if you want to have somebody at reception and not wait outside, on the street. We asked double bed, which was confirmed, but we received two sort of sofas put together, very uncomfortable to sleep on, linen was almost transparent, could see the sofa through it . Overall, it didin't give us the feeling of 3 stars hotel

Very good Breakfast and WiFi. There was a place in stairs for smoking which really smells terrible. The room was so cold at night in October but they refused to give any heater whereas the manager and receptionist had " turned on " heater under their tables!

Ok hotel to stay a night or two
My girlfriend and I were not impressed by this hotel at all. First, the door was locked and it took a few minutes before someone opened up for us. The lady who opened the door was everything but polite, like we were disturbing her (she was still putting on her overalls as we were doing the check in). The room was ok. It's old but it does the job. However there was a very strong smell of cigarette and our "double bed" was in truth 2 singles beds (or small sofas im not sure) pushed one against the other. Breakfast was good. There were cold cuts, bread, boiled eggs and sausages, cereal, juice and yogurt. The cold coffee was a nice touch. BE REALLY CAREFUL AT CHECKOUT. They did not let me pay my stay by credit card, claiming that the front desk was "closed". They forced me to pay cash, in euros. The couple after us wanted to pay with crowns, but they were asked to pay in euros as well.

You get what you pay for, it's cheap but a bit of the way out from the old town but you can get public transport easy to the old town. Breakfast was a joke dirty plates, food running out staff not quick enough to replace the empty plates with new food. Room was not cleaned in the 3 nights I stayed there, TV not working in room, the towels they gave me the hand towel with holes in, bath sheet dirty stains down it. Shower one day warm next day cold, next two day warm again. All in all wouldn't stay there again.

The hotel staff allowed us to check in long long long after they left work. We arrived at 2:30 am, but they were more than nice enough to let us into our room. The place was very outdated but was quite clean. Some of the mattresses felt like I was sinking into a hole...NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PEOPLE WITH BACK PROBLEMS

Apartmentbuilding half-way turned into hotel
The hotel emailed me to ask about my arrival time a week before arrival to have English speaking staff on site. Unfortunately I arrived a few hours early and before check-in time. After arriving at the hotel we arrive at a locked-door. After several time pushing the doorbell someone leaving the hotel let us in. We found a lade at the reception in the basement that did not speak english. She called her english speking colleague and explained that only one of two rooms was available, however what she said was going to happen was not the same as the receptionist did (but for our benefit). The hotelroom is big and nice, but very outdated. The hotelroom are clean, but I on one night received a very dirty towel even after leaving a good tip. The beds are rock hard. The breakfast items did not seem fresh. The hotel is in a nice local area outside just outside of downtown, just want we wanted. This hotel could be better if they was able to make the whole building into hotel (today is just basement, 3rd and 5th floor) so they could have a 24hr english speaking staff. The service at the hotel is good, but sometime complicated by language barriers. Would I stay here again? I would not mind it, but I probably will check for other hotels in a little higher price range.
