We moved to the Icon after we found the beds in our first hotel to be extremely hard and uncomfortable. The Icon touts that they use only Hastens beds which are hand-made and provide superior support and comfort. Quite honestly, the bed was nothing special; it was just as hard as the one at the hotel where we first stayed. Our room was small and had a sloped roof which became a hazard when getting out of one side of the bed. Though there were wine glasses and a corkscrew, the refrigerator was empty; every other hotel on our trip provided snacks, beer, wine, juice and water. With the exception of one woman who worked the front desk, had a bubbly personality and helped us procure dining reservations, there was absolutely nothing special about the Icon. Very ordinary.

Top Class Hotel in excellent location
Absolutely LOVED our stay at the ICON. Brilliant location to explore the fabulous city of Prague. Were treated so well and our upgraded Junior Suite was fabulous. Delicious breakfast each morning and highly recommend a Massage in The Senses Spa. Staff were so polite and helpful.

We had a great stay at the hotel! The staff was so welcoming and helpful.. Hotel's location is great and we basically walked everywhere. The room wasn't as quiet as we hoped even though it was in the upper floor, but other then that we highly recommend staying at the Icon Hotel.

Staff excellent, especially Eddy at reception . Room was clean and as in photo and in central area. Train station for the Airport bus is about 20 minute walk away (100 kroner, £3) or you can use Bolt app for £12 to the airport. Area walkable. There’s an Indian restaurant downstairs where dinner is lovely. The breakfasts are simple but sufficient.

They have a big air conditioning problem but they are not admitting it. It’s Central air condition. Cannot control it from the room. It’s so much hot in the room. They claim that because it’s hot outside that the air condition is hot inside 😂. I think they are either mocking the intelligence of the visitors or the management really don’t understand how air conditioning functions. They should see how touristic hot countries (Dubai, Qatar, Thailand, ….) deal with that. Staff for breakfast are friendly, limited food choice.
